Stockdales Riding Stables has been established since 1988 fully insured, licensed and inspected �

We cater for 4 years old onwards through to teenagers and adults, having a weight limit of 13stone. We have plenty of horses and pony’s ranging from 12-16hh for all abilities of riders. We currently teach on the weekends and have Fundays running in the school holidays giving a full equine experience,

not just riding but caring for the horses also�

My dear old friend 🧡🐴😔💔

Today I said our final goodbye to our beloved Haflinger Casper, he has slowed down over the last few years in retirement and told me it was time over the last few weeks, I did not want him to struggle or be in any pain over the winter months.
Today he went peacefully until the end been snuggled tightly and told what a good boy he is and how proud I am of him as he passed over the rainbow bridge. He has left such a hole in my heart and been a long term resident, nearly 20 years of loving his kind and hilarious habits!
I’m so glad my mum bought him all those years ago as a very green and cheeky 5 year old imported from Holland. He had previously driven and pulled a cart - he ran like a camel for 2 years and had us in stitches 🤣
He had a heart of pure gold and was the goofiest chap! He has taught hundreds if not thousands of riders of all ages and abilities and given people confidence over his years, and was field famous for all the walkers around the nature reserve that would feed him over the field fence throughout the week, everyone knew him as the first to come to call friendly boy he was!

Please bare with me for messages today, we have still had the horses to look after and nearly all cried out, but for now my friend I’ll see you on the other side and mums waiting with a carrot up there for you 👼❤️🐴

All the usual horse care involved, bringing the horses in, washing, brushing, hoof care, lotions and potions, tacking up, riding and Halloween fancy dress for you horse and yourself which is optional! Feeding, quiz’s, pumpkin activities, and turning out! These are a Jam packed day with limited spaces available for age 6 and above 🐴

⭐️ Stable management sessions available left for Friday 31st running 1-3.30, this includes all the horse care without the riding treating your pony as your own ☺️🐴🎃
