Poo picking a clients field today in this gorgeous weather🌤️

Now the weather is warming up and lighter nights are here our horses will be spending longer in the field meaning unfortunately more poo to pick!

Poo picking a horse's field is essential for several reasons:

🐴Health and Hygiene: Horse manure can attract parasites, bacteria, and fungi. Regularly removing it helps reduce the risk of your horse contracting diseases, parasites (like worms), or infections from the manure.

🐴Pasture Health: Leftover manure can create patches of land where grass doesn't grow well, leading to uneven pastures. Picking up the manure allows the grass to grow uniformly and helps maintain a healthy, green field.

🐴Improved Grazing: Horses will typically avoid eating grass near manure piles. By picking up the p**p, you encourage your horses to graze the whole field, ensuring they get a balanced diet.

🐴Aesthetics: A clean field looks better and is more pleasant for both the horses and anyone who works with or visits them.

🐴Preventing Fly Issues: Horse manure can attract flies, especially in warmer months. Regular removal reduces the potential for fly infestations, which can be a nuisance and even cause health issues for horses.

🐴Odor Control: Decomposing manure can produce strong, unpleasant odors. Cleaning up regularly helps control the smell around the pasture area.
