So apparently this sound is a Muntjac deer. Scared the p**p out of me today. It went on and on and on. A man in the forest explained to me what the noise was. They are also known as the barking deer. Everyday is a school day eh!

Sunday I washed my van. Today I got stuck behind a road sweeper in my van. Lesson learnt, don’t bother washing the van!

Various footwear for yesterday and today.
The crocs hurt my toes. The white sliders were just too big and were an accident waiting to happen. However the black sliders (also my husbands) were SO comfy, padded underneath, big enough to fit my bandages in and no toe rubbage 🙌.

So this is how I did my walks today.

Blister plasters on the soles of my feet, bandaged and a sanitary towel under each foot, folded up for extra padding. I wore my pristine white trainers as they were the only ones that could fit my hugely padded feet in them 😂😂.

Totally worked and was able to complete my 3 dog walks 💪💪

WE DID IT!! 💪💪 26.5 miles around the Jurassic coast. (The 0.5 part was the longest)

It was way tougher than we imagined. Those hills were massive!! (Think mountains) The worst one was straight after lunch. 🥴 And the second half nearly finished us as we both were in bits with our feet. No way were we going to quit though.

It took a while and we both stumbled over the finish line. The cup of tea at the end was the best finisher 😂😂

Thanks to each and every one of you that have donated. It really means A LOT. And we both smashed our targets 🙌🙌

Dramatic scenes today in the forest. The dogs got these green sticky things stuck to them. Some carried on a usual, some refused to move until they were taken off 😂

I did google to see what they were, but it came back as a sea urchin. Pretty sure that’s not what they were 😂
