UPDATE: A very kind lady called Kim popped in to pay for the stolen goods yesterday and whilst we put up a fight, she wouldn’t take no for answer. We have now passed this on to East Lothian Roots & Fruits who will make use of it by helping a family in need.

This person popped flea tablets and flea drops into her coat’s inside pocket earlier today and forgot to pay the £30 before leaving. If anyone that knows her wants to send her a wee reminder before we take it any further, feel free. We have proof on CCTV.

UPDATE: The culprits have now been identified by the police and a report sent to the procurator fiscal.

These 2 had a smashing time in the early hours of this morning! We have 20 minutes of CCTV showing one of them battering our shop windows and the van before taking a well earned rest on the bonnet.
Police have been informed, however if you are one of their parents, please come into the shop ASAP so that arrangements can be made to pay for the damage.

We now have the name of the main culprit and know they are both aged 20/21 and are from Gilmerton/Loanhead area.

P.S - faces were blurred initially as we didn’t know the ages and didn’t want to potentially put minors faces on the internet. Please see comments.

Polite request.
PLEASE do not allow your dog to p*e inside our shop or on the entrance door. We appreciate mistakes can happen and we’ll happily give you cleaning materials, but too many owners are just walking away and leaving the mess to us. Some are even p*eing on stock which we then have to destroy and this costs us money.

Please use the hook outside to secure your pooch if it’s a problem piddler 🙏🏼
