Signs of heat stroke in dogs; excessive panting, drooling, bright red or pale gums, vomiting, diarrhoea, and increased heart rate. More severe signs can include confusion, weakness, collapse & seizures.
It is important when trying to cool your dog down not to cover them in damp towels, these heat up quickly with body temperature and cause them to heat up quicker. Use cool running water over your pet and bring them straight to your vet. Keep the car as cool as possible for them.
