Connie the labradoodle 🐾💙

Connie’s lovely owner Debbie contacted me to help get her into the emergency vets in Totnes after Connie had swallowed the string from a pair of trousers on Sunday evening 😳🩵

At 11 years old, it was understandably quite concerning, especially as she stopped eating for a couple of days afterwards.

Connie had to undergo x-rays to determine how serious things were, but thankfully the vets were able to help her pass it through with medication rather than surgery or worse 🙏🐶

She is now safely back home, resting, sleeping it off, and no doubt preparing to return to causing absolute mischief again very soon 😂💙 I was told a few stories during our journey there and back from thr vets 😬😅

Well done Connie 🐾 and sending lots of love to Debbie as well because these situations are never easy 💙

🐾 Another great Week at Charlie’s Walks 🐾

The dogs have all done amazingly this week 💙

We welcomed Violet back after being spayed and she has been settling back in so well 🐶✨

Little Herbie also went off for his operation this week and we can’t wait to have him back causing mischief again in a couple of weeks time 💙🐾

Alongside all the fun walks, we also worked on:
🐾 Recall training
🐾 Impulse control
🐾 Calm social interactions

It’s so lovely watching the dogs build confidence, friendships, and better manners while still enjoying themselves 😊

🐾 A Busy Week of Vet Trips 🐾

On Monday, Ollie the gorgeous black Labrador went off to a specialist vet in the Newton Abbot area to have his heart and throat checked 💙🐶

And today little Hetty had her own vet visit for a check-up regarding some sores around her ears and mouth area 🩷🐱

Thankfully both are now safely back home with their wonderful owners where they belong 😊

Wishing them both plenty of rest, cuddles, and speedy recoveries 🐾
