I hired Libby to look after my pets and home while I was away, and I am extremely disappointed and upset with the state I found my house in when I returned.
Before leaving I had the house professionally cleaned as i do each fortnight, yet I came back to:
– Stains on my sofa
— Chips, rubbish and bottles down the side of my sofa
— Sweets and chocolate wrappers in my dogs bed
– Unexplained mess/stains on my ceiling
– Cat litter trays not scooped at all although i had left specific instructions that they were to be scooped twice daily
– Items including makeup behind my dog’s bed and under mine
– The kitchen and bathroom left dirty along with my own items including disability aids moved
— The garden not having been poo picked so 6 days worth of dog mess
My dog had been fed the wrong food (my other dogs food) the entire time despite me leaving very clear instructions and brand of his food, had this have been my other dog who has a serious stomach issue he would have been extremely ill
I had left very clear and detailed instructions on how my pets were to be cared for it they very obviously hadn't been read or followed appropriately
Libby was aware this was the first time I had ever left my dog with a pet sitter to go away and I had explained that I was anxious about this, updates were very few and not detailed at all
On top of this Libby claimed to have left my key on the kitchen side, but it was not there when I returned. When I asked about it, she blocked me instead of resolving the situation. Hence me having to use my buisness page to leave a review instead of my personal page. I am now left not knowing who has possession of my house key
As a professional pet sitter myself, I would be ashamed to leave a client’s home and pets environment in this condition. This behaviour is unprofessional, disrespectful, and potentially dangerous for animals. I cannot recommend her services.
