Merple and Gobo are now very much part of Little Downs Cattery life. They are still quite shy around strangers, but you may see them darting around the drive and car park when you visit (please drive slowly 🙏)
Occasionally they like to get on the office roof and look down on us all! ❤️

We picked a nice warm
Sunny day to let our babies explore their garden. They were both nervous at first and we are giving them access to our property slowly and allowing them to take it at their own pace. It is soooo lovely to watch them outside at last. ❤️

Susie built the feral babies a nice cat tree which they are both in love with! They are really settled now and even Miss Merps is braving our company more and more!

Another quick update on our “not so feral” babies Miss Merps and Gobo! It’s taken over two weeks, but Miss Merps has finally decided to trust us and come out of hiding. She is never going to be as extrovert as Gobo,
But it is so nice that she has been brave.

For those of you who are interested in our new rodent control team. It’s taken sometime, but both are starting to feel braver. Gobo took some food from my hand today and even gave me some purring love. Merple is far more timid, but starting to poke her head out and watch her brother. They are just beautiful 😻 ❤️❤️

Over the Easter Holidays as well as looking after all our lovely feline guests. As a family, we turned an old outdoor shelter (that was nearly ready for demolishing!) Into a five star hotel to adopt a couple of feral cats from Cats Protection Yeovil. It has been a fun project and we are so thrilled to be welcoming our new team members tomorrow to their new home! May they be snug in the Feral Cat inn and love their days as country cats. Welcome Merple and Gobo to the team and our family. We love you already ❤️😻
