AJ’s Adventures has moved! Now based in Milverton, covering the surrounding areas.

Does your pup need company to break up a long day alone? I have slots available for a lunchtime group walk.

I am:

* Insured
* Canine First Aid Trained
* DBS Checked
* Dog Body Language Trained

I do:

* Small Groups
* A photo of the route on a map provided after every walk, including elapsed walking time (you’ll know your dog gets their full hour and a proper adventure!)
* Dog happiness and safety always prioritised
* Gentle introductions to me, to build the relationship and trust at pups pace

A gorgeous week with gorgeous pups! We’ve had quite a mild week, almost feels like summer came back for a moment! This week and next a few dogs will be introduced to see if a friendship will form, having got to know the dogs I’m sure they’ll be a match made in heaven 😊

My services and price list are in the final photo. I have some space on Mondays and Fridays but other days are quite full now 🐾💕

Almost 100 followers! 🥳 once the page hits 100 I’ll be starting a regular raffle with all profits being donated to St Giles Animal Rescue, just a heads up for anyone interested! I’ll put together a doggy hamper to be won. I did some volunteer work for St Giles before becoming so busy with the business, and miss being able to help out there, so the next best thing is being able to contribute some money for the wonderful work they do there.

If anyone has any ideas for what they’d like to win in a hamper then feel free to pop a comment below 😊 🐾💕

Busy busy busy! More lovely new faces too! 😍 the rivers have been much more accessible this week, so back to a bunch of very soggy doggies! The young ones have been enjoying getting to know their world and making friends, and the spaniels have been great at “find it” games that really get those brains and noses working. Some have preferred a more chilled out adventure, lots of treats and cuddles thrown in too of course.

What a week! With a couple of new faces coming on board, it’s been a week of relationship building and exploring what each pup wants and needs. It’s definitely starting to feel more autumnal now, and with the heavy rain we’ve had, we’ve had to find new routes due to flooding and safer spots to dip in the river! Tonnes of fun was still had by all 😁

Back to the usual adventures now the heatwave is over! The weather was still beautiful though, so the dogs enjoyed plenty of splashes in the river and ponds. Who could have a bad week with these wonderful pups for company every day! 😁

What a weird week it’s been! With the heatwave we’ve been having, some pups enjoyed a morning walk before the heat kicked in, with lots of river dips and shady spots. Other lovely pups had drop ins instead, so got to enjoy a few cuddles this week as well as lots of indoor playtime 😊 also had a couple of new faces which has been wonderful!

Weekly post of wonderful woofs!

What a brilliant week it has been, from wild wanders to secure fields, and so pleased to have a returning face! Also had a new little agility star in the making start this week, very excited to watch this little lady grow up. Everyone has had a really fun time, the rain was bringing nobody down 😊

I have decided to keep some mornings free for ad hoc bookings, also still have some group slots available for those dogs wanting some fun with friends! I am dbs checked, canine first aid trained, and insured, so your pup is in safe in hands with me 😁 I also take huge amounts of time to learn about dog communication, social cues, their emotional world and how to keep them happy and safe, I want all who join to have the best and safest time with me! *EDIT* Unfortunately due to the temperature predicting to be 30c this Saturday, I have made a decision to postpone this Saturday's tracking course to next Saturday instead.
it is just too hot to be working dogs in those temperatures.

In honour of International Dog Day, this weeks post is a little different. Expressing our adoration for our wonderful furry companions is not easily put into words, but try I must!

Instead of the usual price list at the end of the post, I’ve included a photo of my sweet complex boy, the dog that changed my life infinitely for the better. Having been surrounded by dogs my whole life (thank you, family!) I’m well acquainted with the absolute joy and utter heartbreak dog companionship brings. This little lad arrived in my life at 8 months old, with a lot of baggage and health issues in his tiny body. He’s taught me a love, patience, and sense of sacrifice I didn’t know I had, and our journey together has been the most wonderful thing I’ve ever experienced. My love for this little fluffy pup feels too big to contain sometimes! And I know it’s the same for you lovely customers who entrust me with your beloved doggies each week.

So, thank you for the trust you put in me with your sweet dogs that make life so wonder-filled and full of fun and joy each day. And the biggest thank you to all our four-legged friends simply for existing. Thank you to the dogs loved and lost… thank you!! 🐾💕
