The shock of losing her is unbearable 💔

Two things went through my mind last night as I sat on a chair in A&E with my Daddy, who took another wee turn at 5.30pm.

1st and foremost , know your dog , if something doesnt sit right. Get it checked out.
We live and breathe our dogs and im grateful in my heart beneath the dreadful pain of losing Dottie that I acted immediately and the fact that she was not allowed to suffer for even a moment brings me some comfort.

Secondly, know your vet.
Never have I been more grateful that Dottie was in THEE best possible hands. If they couldn't save her No one could have.

Utterly devastated 💔
Dottie presented as normal until yesterday at dinner time when she refused her dinner, she slept soundly all night and at 630 am refused breakfast. I had a feel of her tummy and rang our vet with suspected bloat. Upon scan/Xray a mass was seen and she went into theatre.
Our vets found her spleen described as absolutely huge 😭
Upon further investigation there were tumours 😪
The team at lurgan Vets go above and beyond. Sadly nothing could save Dottie 😭
We are completely heartbroken 💔

We have never had a set rehoming fee, we are a voluntary family rescue.
