Good to be back ✂️🐩

I had a lovely two weeks back doing what I love. We should be back to a more normal pace when I return after the bank holiday, thank you to everyone who has been patient with me whilst I have been so busy over the summer holidays.

It’s been a real change from last year. We have so many more dogs to care for which is amazing, clients to speak to and it feels amazing to be in this position. It has meant I replies have taken longer and I promise the new changes I am implementing are going to mean there will be less delays moving forward.

Tuesday will be an admin day for me so please look out for emails / messages if you are awaiting a reply from me. We are closed over this bank holiday weekend.

Have a lovely weekend and I hope everyone who has children in school enjoy the last few days before they go back ❤️

Appreciation post !

I want to say a huge thank you to Danielle for holding the forte whilst I’ve been away. It’s a huge thing to be able to go away and know that everything is under control and I am extremely grateful to have your support.

Not only has she been keeping things running, she’s producing grooms like this! This miniature schnauzer is Violet, she has joined one of my existing clients family and they trusted Danielle with their new addition. This was Danielle’s first time grooming her and I think you can see how well they got on 😍

I will be returning to the salon on the 17th August ✨

The two weeks of August will be a busy juggle, with the school holidays and returning to a full diary. But I’m going to hit the ground running and get everything in place for our new start in September. We are going to be improving all of our systems - from how we communicate with clients, the booking in system, training plans for puppies and fearful dogs, and importantly ensuring all dogs and owners have our guidance and positive experience they deserve.

One thing I know for a fact is that over the years, every dog owner who works with us over the long term wants the best for their dog, because they love them and value their experience.

We aren’t a convenient dog grooming service, clients travel to us for a reason and they need to plan their time in advance to work with us. I want to make sure every single client who believes in us and what we are working towards gets us at our best. Nothing less 🙏🏻

That’s what this new start is about ❤️ to all those who have joined along the way, and are the people I wanted to work with when I created The Dog Spot, you know who you are and I am so grateful for you all. This is for you!

Battery is well and truly recharging 🔋

This break was so needed, life had been going a million miles per hour and this time with my family to pause and recharge has been so needed. I love my work so much, but to show up as my best I need balance and this is what this time away gives me.

Running a small business right now is hard, being a working mum right now is hard. But I would choose this life a million times over.

Feeling very grateful for everything I have worked hard for 💕

I will be away for the next two weeks. I return on the 14th August, if you have any queries / booking requests can you please do these via email on [email protected]. It will be easier for me to work through them as and when I have time. I return to the salon on the 17th August.

My current clients will also be receiving important emails over the next few days, I have help sending these out whilst I am away 💕 if you need to contact me then please do this via email.

Danielle will be keeping things running for the next two weeks, she is fully booked and running a cancellation list. You can contact her directly on 07745 614996.

We are booking weeks in advance now, appointments are extremely limited.
