Puppy Intros 💕

The best thing is being able to work with dogs from the beginning. I love that I’m in control of their experiences and I always make sure I give every single puppy the best start I possibly can to ensure they are given a head start.

At this stage we use the sessions mainly as a training tool alongside a little tidy up. The more frequently they come at this stage the more grooming really does become a part of their routine 💕

Mabel has had the best start, she’s such a confident and content puppy and she did so so well today with all the new sights sounds and sensations. I can’t wait to watch her grow, I feel like she’s going to be super curly 😍

Evolution….

Handsome Loki came to visit me today and he made me feel really nostalgic, he has been visiting me since 2022 from way back when I had my little trailer on my mums drive in Sandon. To think he’s been with me through the journey from trailer to pod to the salon makes me feel so grateful for everyone who’s come along for the ride, but especially so for those who have stayed since the beginning.

I am posting this on behalf of a lovely client of mine and this is not an easy decision for her to have made so please only kind comments, it’s purely for Luna’s best interests ❤️

“Luna is a 5 year old KC registered Doberman who is neutered. We
have had her from a puppy but we got her during lockdown so she missed out on some fundamental socialising skills, which has led to behavioural problems with new dogs that she does not know.

Due to her behavioural problems with other dogs she can be a hard walk as is very strong on the lead when she comes across another dog and will bark consistently due to her fear of other dogs.

She does love consistency and with the right training her behaviour does improve on the lead but we just don’t have the time anymore.

When getting to know dogs over a period of time she will socialise with them. Our whole family have dogs and she gets on fine with them, it’s just initially meeting new dogs.

Aside from other dogs amazing with people and children and loves a cuddle”
