That’s the half term adventure done 🇫🇷❤️

I am catching up this weekend with some bits so if you’re waiting to hear from me please feel free to prompt me !

I’ve had a lovely week off. I really have relaxed and turned off from work mode and feel ready to go again for the summer sprint to the next school holidays. I take my annual leave in May, August and December and work through the rest so I really appreciate people’s patience over these busy periods. As a lot of self employed people (especially those who work like we do on schedules) it’s hard to take time off, before and after is always busier than usual. It’s also important that I do take this time off for my family, making memories like I did this week is why I work so hard (as much as you know I love my work I do have a reason & my daughter is definitely it). I hope she grows up knowing she can do anything she wants if she puts her mind to it ❤️🌍

I’m re-charged and ready to get back to doing what I love ❤️🐩✂️

🥹 guys, we’ve been nominated for the 2026 High Achievement Award in the category of Small Business Entrepreneur !!!

I know for a fact we will be running against a lot of talented dog groomers, but to be nominated and be in the same category as some of the most inspiring groomers in the industry means so much.

This category is huge for me, because it not only recognises the business I have built from scratch, but also Danielle’s relentless hard work too. We never wanted to just groom dogs, we wanted to create a space where dogs are understood, cared for and are safe. We consider everything about your dog’s experience - from how they walk through the door, how we de-sensitise them from any fears they may have, to how other dogs make them feel (giving them space and not mixing dogs who aren’t from the same household). We want the bar to be high, once you’ve experienced how grooming should be approached with us, you will always know how to advocate for your dog if you should ever need to!

Here’s to raising the bar, continuing to grow and learn! Wish us luck !!

I wanted to share this because I am ridiculously proud ! Danielle had this boy and his brother booked in today, it was their first visit and as terriers typically are they were a bundle of energy entering the salon.
This boy Isaac is only around 11 months old so is still very much a puppy and learning what grooming is all about. He did amazing adapting today. This isn’t a fluke though, it’s because Danielle made sure he was comfortable, that he was introduced to everything in a calm and controlled way and this meant he responded so well because of the way she controlled his experience.

It’s not easy working with new dogs, we have so much to learn about them and their needs - in a very short space of time whilst also trying to achieve a groom. But Danielle again made this look easy, and that’s what makes I believe makes a good dog groomer. We do the hard work so your dogs leave us having had the best experience we possibly can give them, within our control of course. That’s what makes us different, experience first - stunning grooms are the cherry on top! 🍒

Our promise to every client is that every aspect of your dogs groom is thought of and planned around, if we know something we could change would make them have an easier experience we will always advocate for your dog and mention this, as we are the professionals and it will be based on years of experience and knowing what works and what doesn’t 🙌🏻

Things we consider for every dog
✨ Are they happy with all parts of the groom itself or do they need some parts breaking down and worked on in smaller sessions (we refuse to push dogs past their thresholds just to get the job done)
✨ Is the dog relaxed on the floor or would they benefit not waiting before or after the appointment
✨ We want to make sure any dogs who need work to de-sensitise are booked in and don’t overlap with another dog who also has some anxiety (so they don’t feed off of each others energy)
✨ If we find your dog has a fear we will help come up with a plan to fix it, and let you choose if you feel it’s something you can work on with us / afford to work on in short frequent sessions until we feel the an improvement

🦷🪥 Ted had his first teeth clean and look at what was achieved in just one session!

We are loving how much you’re all getting on board with our teeth cleaning service. We have such amazing results and it’s so lovely to see owners getting on board with their dogs oral health. We want it to become a regular part of your dogs grooming routine, their oral health is vital to their overall health.

As sweet as she looks !

This week has been a busy one, so many floofs keeping us busy and getting ready for warmer weather ahead. This is a polite reminder that we are in our busiest season now and there may be delays as we work with live animals and their experience comes first, we will not rush ❤️ so we do really appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate our first really busy summer with the both of us working, and we will be refining things if we feel anything needs tweaking at all to keep your dogs having the best experience.
