Hi all those that are booked in this weekend for a groom please stay by ur phones with the weather reaching dizzy heights over the next few days ( if it can be believed) I may have to cancel grooms for the safety and well being of ur pups .

Well there’s a lesson in be careful what u wish for ! 2026 can do one already !!
Had my van with heaters in over night , kept the water running but before it defrosted the shower split and broke so there’s one thing that has to be fixed . Then switched van on to warm it up a light comes on with a message saying check emissions !
Have spoken to a couple of mechanics who have said don’t drive til it’s been diagnosed . Not a problem but none can look at it until at least next week 😩

All of that being said I’m going to have to cancel grooms til it’s fixed but ! If anyone can bring their dogs to me I’m more than happy to groom them at my home instead

Well another year over and another is about to begin !
My wish for the exiting year ( please be better ) didn’t come true as personal and family issues were yet again at the forefront .
One thing I do know tho is that if it wasn’t for my wonderful animal Vantics family who have understood my issues and agreed to change of appointments at the drop of a hat my business that I love dearly would be no more .
Can I please thank those that gave me a Christmas gift in whatever form , it was so kind of you and so appreciated .

Can I take a moment please to remember the beautiful furry souls that have passed this year , I truly felt blessed to have had them in my life and really hope that their mummy’s and daddy’s keep in touch .

My wish for next year ?

Everyone is happy and healthy and has an amazing year where all of their wishes come true

All of my furry clients keep well and safe

My business survives another year

Again a huge heartfelt thankyou to each and everyone of you for still be there for me and my business I really do love you all !!

I’m so sorry to those I’ve cancelled the last couple of days I hope u agree the decision was a valid one and best for ur dogs . I would never forgive myself if anything happened in my van due to the intense heat in there . Things aren’t looking much better heat wise for tomorrow either but will make a decision tomorrow morning on wether to go ahead with grooming x

Another scorcher on its way this weekend I’ll do my best to get to you but if I think it’s too hot I will be cancelling you . Please don’t think it’s because I want an easy life believe me it really isn’t as I have to work even harder than I do to try to get you back in with already full books . I am genuinely concerned about ur dogs , if it’s 26 and sunny outside it’s over 30 inside my tin can far far too hot for ur dogs to endure being washed dried clipped and having to stand still for over an hour etc x

I genuinly love all of the dogs that I groom and only have their well being at heart .

It’s forcast to be 26 tomorrow , 29 on Sunday and 32 degrees on Monday us as humans will struggle in these temps let alone our fur babies so please , think about how it’s gonna affect them .

Good morning lovely customers, please, please be careful with your furry friends during these summer months.
If you can imagine wearing a fur coat and going for a walk in these temperatures with nothing on your feet and feel it would be too much, then it most definitely will be your beloved dog/s.
The end of this week /weekend is forecast to be 27* to 33* this will be way too hot for dogs to be out and about. The Pudsey dog park www.thepudseydogpark.co.uk, will be monitoring the temperatures and rescheduling any appointments if the temperatures are too high. I will be starting with rescheduling our Beagle & Basset meet and play, given the forecast.
You can reschedule your own bookings up to 24hrs before your appointment time, by using the link we sent you on your confirmation emails. We have attached this info sheet for your info, hope this helps.
