Canine Gems is a behaviour and training consultancy based in and around the Swansea area, also covering Neath, Port Talbot and Llanelli. We provide blocks of training classes (6 and 8 weeks), one to one training sessions and behavioural consultations tailored to meet the specific needs of you and your pet. Training classes include:
- Puppy Primary (From 10 weeks)
- Puppy Progress (After puppy prim

ary graduation)
- Canine College (Adult training classes)
- Agility Academy (Beginner and Intermediate fun agility classes). I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour and am working towards becoming a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist.

Fabulous place work in Fridays Training Club. This is an important skill to practice, both at home and outdoors. It is also nice for the dogs to sit and watch things going on, while remaining calm and on their mats. We are working on building duration on mats, as well as having owners take some eye contact away when dogs are on their mats.

Wonderful session with this lovely little group this morning.

Everyone worked hard on loose lead walking, recalls, going to a place on command, focus work and we also added in some distance control work 👏👏

It was a full on session and the dogs and their people worked so hard ❤️❤️

Well done everyone 👏🙌

Today was our walk and train session.....and what a session it was!!!!

I feel very privileged to work with this group of dogs and owners, each dog is at a different stage of training so working on different things but they all celebrated their own personal little goals today. Whether that was greeting new dogs face to face (and having kisses 💋), calming down straight away after barking, showing off fancy recalls and loose lead walking, fantastic stays and leave work....they all smashed it today ❤️❤️

Well done to everyone today, the hard work you are putting in both in class and at home is really showing and im so proud of you all ❤️👏✨️
