Heads up .... we are starting to get busy for next high season - April to October - please try to book in early dear long standing customers. We know in previous years it has been possible to give a week or two notice and we can fit you in. Unfortunately those days are gone! Three cattery closures bringing total in this area to 15 now already impacting on next year's diary. Thank you. x

A polite little reminder please about customers who would like to view our cattery. We welcome viewers, however, we appreciate a little notice and an appointment booked please due to how busy we currently are. Drop in viewings impact on existing customers picking up and dropping off and getting our daily jobs done. In order to be able to spend time with viewers, we like to make appointments on days that are less busy with arrivals and departures. Thank you for understanding.

Clay Cottage and Cats Whisker Catteries have announced closure at end of 2025. This will result in even greater demand for places at the catteries that remain in the area. This is a loss of around 60 cat pens! We advise our regular customers to consider booking extra early (it's never too early). We have already this year reached the stage of being able to fill Drymere Lodge twice over on some dates. Seriously though we have enough work, and no we won't be expanding!

Luxury Cat Boarding

Run by Belinda & Kevin Spruce, both born in Cheshire. We purchased Drymere Lodge in April 2013, after appearing on Escape to the Country (filmed July 2012). We were looking for a property with land to build a cattery. One of the properties they showed us already had a cattery, and the rest is history. We were re-visited by the TV series makers in May 2017 when they made a new series - “I Escaped to the Country” and we featured again on television in January 2018!!
