Fentons update:

Going forward, I’ll be taking a £20 deposit to secure all grooming appointments.

Unfortunately, I’ve had a few last-minute cancellations and no-shows recently, and as I only have a small number of appointments available each week, these spaces can be really difficult to fill at short notice.


I really appreciate your understanding — this is just to help protect the limited appointment spaces I have available and keep things fair for everyone. 🥰

Three years ago today, I had to say goodbye to Fenton. 🖤

For anyone who has ever wondered where the name Fentons Dog Grooming came from, this is the reason.

Fenton was my first pug, my best friend, and such a huge part of my life. Losing him was one of those moments that changes you forever. Three years on, I still miss him more than I can put into words.

When I started my own grooming business, there was never really any question about what I would call it.

It had to be Fentons.

I wanted his name to live on. Every time I see the sign, write Fentons on a message, book a dog in, or walk through the salon door, I get to carry a little piece of him with me.

What started as a business name became something much more meaningful. The salon is my passion, my hard work and a huge part of my life — but underneath all of that is a little bit of Fenton.

So today, on the third anniversary of losing him, I just wanted to share the story behind the name.

Fentons Dog Grooming is named after a very special dog who I loved, lost, and will never forget. 🐾

Three years without you, Fenton.
But your name is still here.
And so is your legacy. ❤️
