I get asked this question alot. Why did I want to be a dog groomer?
I've always loved FURY Animals from birth and always wanted to work with animals. My parents let us have pets as kids and we was never without a family dog or cat or rabbit or hamster. I wanted to be a veterinary nurse but quickly learnt I couldn't watch animals being put to sleep everyday.
Then I got got this beautiful girl Roxy in the picture 14 years ago.
I was made redundant from my job I had at the time and knew it was now or never to pursue a career in dog grooming so I could groom my own dog. I worked voluntary for years with no income only support and savings.
14 years later it doesn't feel like work when you are doing a passion you've had all your life.
My gorgeous Roxy has got slow kidney failure but doing great. I owe it all to her ❤️
