🐶 A Kind Reminder for Long-Haired Breeds
We’re seeing an increase in matting recently, especially with dogs coming in for one-off grooms. Long-haired dogs require regular grooming to keep their coats healthy and free from painful matting.

Going forward, an additional charge will apply for dogs that are heavily matted and only come in occasionally. This is due to the extra time and care needed to safely groom them.

💡 This does not apply to our regular clients whose dogs may have slight matting now and then — we appreciate your continued care and commitment to your pets’ coat health.

🌞 Hot Weather Warning – Pet Safety First 🐾

With temperatures rising throughout the week, we want to remind all our amazing clients that your pets’ wellbeing is our top priority. 🐶💛

Please avoid walking your dogs during the hottest parts of the day – even short walks can be dangerous. Dogs can overheat quickly, and hot pavements can burn their paws.

To support you during this heatwave, we’re temporarily suspending our cancellation policy. If the weather makes it unsafe for you or your pet to attend an appointment, you can cancel or reschedule without any penalties. We’re here to help you do what’s best for your dog.

⚠️ Signs of Overheating in Dogs:
• Excessive panting or drooling
• Lethargy or weakness
• Bright red or pale gums
• Vomiting or diarrhoea
• Difficulty breathing
• Collapsing or uncoordinated movement

If you notice any of these symptoms, get your dog to a shaded, cool area immediately and contact a vet.

Stay safe, stay cool, and as always – don’t hesitate to reach out if you need us.
