Home Visits
Pet Taxi (dedicated transport) Walks can be group or individual and generally last 1 hour.

Dog Walking:

Paws4Thought is a friendly Professional local service run with your dog's happiness in mind, providing a reliable dog walking service in Ashfield and surrounding areas. The one hour does not include travel time. Walking sessions take place in the morning, and afternoon. (Other walking sessions may be agreed, this could include individual dog walking and reduced walk times please ask

for further information, I would be happy to assist with any questions that arise)

Dogs will only be allowed to be let off the lead with the owner’s written permission. Any off lead walking will be introduced on a gradual basis

Dogs can be transported from your home address to one of varying locations, the transportation of the dogs are undertaken in my van which is fully insured and fitted with pet transportation equipment. At the end of the walk your dog will be rubbed down with a towel - or if particularly dirty, and dog permitting, will first have legs, paws and underside washed down. Before any new dog is taken on a meet and greet is carried out during which time I will meet your dog, have a chat about your requirements and come to agreement on cost and timings. Pet Home Visits:

Paws4Thought recognises that some dogs or other pets, for varying reasons, may only need a short walk or even just a visit or two to allow for feeding, a trip to the garden, a bit of play or just some company. For this reason Paws4Thought provides a Pet Home Visit Service. This service is available for dogs, but also other pets such as cats, fish, hamsters etc. and will be tailored to the individual needs of your pet. Pet Taxi Service:

Paws4Thought offers a Pet Taxi service as your pet may need to go to the vet, the groomer or somewhere else but you cannot get there yourself? We can arrange to collect your pet from your home, take him or her to their destination and then deliver them safely back to your home, in specially modified fully insured van to transport your pets safely and comfortably. Important notice

Unfortunately I’ve got some bad news regarding my van. I’ve been dealt with quite a bit of bad luck ever since I got the van and have spent a lot of money on it keeping it going over these past few years. Sadly yesterday the worst happened, the timing chains snapped while driving, essentially damaging the engine. The options I have are; spend a few thousand replacing the chains and fixing any damage we can see but we don’t know how much damage has been done to the engine until we can get it started again, so this might not even fix it. Second option is a whole new engine, which is just not an option really given the cost to do this vs the value of the van.

I think I am going to try all avenues to get the van fixed, but if by some miracle I can get it fixed, I will need to sell the van to recoup all the money I have invested in it.

I want to thank all my wonderful clients who have all been incredibly kind, supportive and understanding. I also want to thank Josh At Paws4Thought who will be taking on a couple of my dogs, I know they will be in good hands with Josh and he will love them just as much as I do.

Don’t worry about me though, I will not be completely out of action I will still be keeping two of my regular dogs who are in walking distance to me, and I’m going to take this extra time to focus on the pet sitting side of my business, as well as Happy Paws Hotel.
