🐟 Feeding your dog fresh, oily fish is a great way to incorporate omega fatty acids into their diet. 🐟

Omega 3 is great for skin and coat – which are the most well known two benefits, as this is very visible. Oily fish is a natural source of omega 3 oils. It is low in saturated fat and rich in antioxidants. This also helps to reduce inflammation. Being a natural anti-inflammatory also supports wound healing. Feeding a variety of oily fish can help improve stiff joints and aid with mobility.

Omega 3 can also help support brain development of puppies. Omega 3 contains healthy fats, which will also help to keep the heart healthy, with improved function and lowers blood pressure.

If your dog doesn’t enjoy eating frozen sprats or mackerel, why not add a fish mix into your dogs diet. There is a fix mix in nearly every raw food brand we stock for example chicken & salmon, surf & turf or even duck & salmon, It’s a great way of getting fish into your dogs diet.

We also stock Salmon oil for dogs which is great to add to your dogs meals.
