Big Reggie. What a brilliant boy he is. Reggie came in for reactivity in regards of resource guarding and lunging to bite his owners which really is a terrifying situation to be in but with some perseverance and hard work we’ve cracked it. Reggie is now loved more than ever with this new and evolved handling methods and routine to strengthen their relationship with him. In the video you can see some amazing off lead walking through usage of the Ecollar. And look at how brilliant this boy is. Congratulations on your completion of the course Reggie and you keep making your owners proud.

Meet Reggie the Labrador Retriever. Reggie is on out reactivity programme due to some very concerning behaviours regarding resource guarding which has left the owners very concerned. For the past 4 sessions we have worked closely with the family on bringing up there confidence around Reggie and also with how to correct and guide Reggie in the right direction Reggie has made significant improvements and the family feel a lot more confident with Reggie. If you feel like this is something you struggle with don’t wait till it’s too late get in touch to start making an impeccable behavioural change for your dog for the better.

I’m devastated to hear that earlier today Cooper passed away due to health issues. What an absolute handful you was to your owners as well as a very handsome man. you really was the final piece in the jigsaw that made your family whole. I’m gutted you’re gone dude you brought so many smiles to your family and loved ones. You will truly be missed little man and was an absolute pleasure to play bond and work with you. You can now run freely chasing every rabbit and every ball your heart desires. Sleep tight little man. My condolences go to the family of Cooper. 🐾🫶 ❤️

Meet Athena🐕 Athena is a 18 month old cane corso x labrador. Athena is currently enrolled on our reactivity course. Athena is reactive to other dogs, so we are working closely with her owners to help over come these triggers and be able to act calmly around these triggers. Athena has had a couple of sessions with us and has already shown improvement. We look forward to watching Athena excel in the course🤩

Meet Skylar! Shes a 20 week old German Shepherd! How gorgeous is she🤩 Skylar is currently enrolled on our puppy course. Skylar has some minor reactivity to other dogs when out and about, so we are working hard with skylar and her owners to show her the right way to react around other dogs. During Skylars past couple of session we have been socialising Skylar in and around other dogs, people and children. We’ve been playing in and around these triggers to help Skylar get used to being around them and show her she doesn’t have to react to them.

Big Lad Stanley. How far this young lad has come in a mere 5 weeks is impressive. Starting to work on the handling side of training now with plenty of obedience as well as plenty of play to enhance these guys relationship. Remember without a good relationship between handler and dog no good work will come. But how amazing is this. Keep up the brilliant work guys. Any advice or help needed in regards to your dogs needing training do not hesitate to get in contact. Until the next one 👍

SATURDAY UPX GROUP & PUPPY CLASSES

Might not be too nice out but here we go. 🤷‍♀️

🐕‍🦺Stratford group class for UPX members- 10am soccer fields

🐶Stratford puppy management class with Sara! 1130am at the shop. First class? Please arrive & be ready to go at 11:15sharp.

🐕‍🦺Kensington group class- 330pm at the school. Comment below if you’re going. Need minimum 2 ppl (separate households) for class to go ahead.

📸 Past board and train Lewis came for a visit from Miramichi. Oh how I missed the floofy guy!

Bones the Pomeranian. Don’t let the name deceive you. Bones is currently on our reactivity course as he struggles a lot with how to act when faced with a trigger, in this specific case it’s dogs. After assessing this little lad it could be clearly seen there was some handling issues and a bit of a relationship breakdown however you can already see such a big improvement to Bones’ temperament since starting with us and his relationship with his owner has vastly improved and a clearer understanding between them both has been made. Great work guys very impressed and look forward to some more great work.
