Thursday morning’s last walk before I head off was with George and Bonnie 🐾❤️

We headed to the fields and there was plenty of fun to be had, especially for George! He spotted a ball in a bush and decided the only way to get it was to dive in headfirst after it. He successfully found it, then came back out Covered in twigs, leaves and sticky burrs from head to toe! What a little monkey! We had lots of friendly dogs come over to say hello on our walk, and George was very happy to see them all. I did take his ball away though because it’s far too warm for him to be running around chasing it, but that didn’t stop him trying to steal everyone else’s balls instead 😂 After saying goodbye to all our doggy friends, we continued our walk and headed off in search of shade and plenty of water breaks along the way. That’s me officially finished now and off for two weeks! 🇲🇽I’m going to miss all my gorgeous doggies so, so much and I really hope they’re all good while I’m away. ❤️

I’ll see everyone in two weeks! 🐾☀️❤️

Wednesday’s walks with Giorgio, Minnie, Stanley, Bonnie, Thunder, Ruby and Benny 🐾☀️

I started the morning with Giorgio, Minnie, Stanley and Bonnie at Stans field before it got too hot. All the guys absolutely love coming here and there were lots of very happy faces and new smells to investigate. 🥰 Giorgio made me laugh as usual he darted out of the van at full speed, raced all the way to the top of the hill and then sat there like a little statue waiting for the rest of us to catch up! 😂 He clearly knew exactly where he wanted to go. Once we got going, everyone was so well behaved. Minnie was in an especially playful mood today and was flying around at a million miles an hour, getting everyone else excited and putting them all in the mood for a bit of fun. We had plenty of water breaks along the way and took things at a sensible pace. Stanley and Bonnie started to flag a little towards the end, especially whenever the sun came out from behind the clouds it was so warm when it came out! But I was really pleased with how well they all managed. Well done guys! 🥰🐾

Then it was back out this afternoon with Thunder, Ruby and Benny. We headed off on a huge exploring walk, with plenty of open space, hills and lots of interesting things to see and sniff. They were all so good together and I barely heard a peep out of any of them! 😂 Benny seems to really enjoy having Thunder with us and he even managed a tiny little play session, which was lovely to see. Thunder also surprised me by sharing the communal bowl, which I was very pleased about, especially as I had his own separate water with us! 😂 It definitely tells you how warm it was. We went a really good distance and by the time we got back to the van it was showing 24°C! Thankfully, the final stretch of our walk was lovely and shaded, so we could take our time getting back.

A lovely way to finish my last walks before my holiday. I’m going to miss all my gorgeous doggies so much, but I’ll see everyone again in two weeks! 🥹🐾

🐾 Tuesday’s walks with Bonnie, Poppy, Daisy, Stanley, Herbie, Benny & Ruby 🐾

I started the day with Bonnie, Poppy and Daisy and we headed off to the quarry. It was so peaceful today that we had a really lovely, long walk and took the opportunity to explore some different paths. 🌿

I spotted three rabbits while we were out luckily Daisy didn’t spot a single one! 😂 Poppy did see one though and literally just froze, watching it very carefully. Daisy, meanwhile, was far too busy doing her own thing and sprinting around even though absolutely nobody was chasing her! 🤣 Daisy spent most of the walk off the path and charging through the bushes. I honestly have no idea what she thinks she’s looking for, but she is ALWAYS on a mission! 😂 Poppy, of course, is happy to follow her around and see what she’s getting up to, but she has absolutely no intention of going into those bushes herself! She prefers to supervise from a safe distance. 🤣 Poppy did have a few little bursts of energy herself after her water breaks and was doing zoomies down the path, which was lovely to see. Bonnie did amazingly well too, especially as it was quite a long walk for our older girl. She kept up beautifully and enjoyed having a good explore. ❤️

Next up was Herbie, Stanley, Benny and Ruby, and we met up with Bronia, who I haven’t seen in over a week, so it was really lovely to catch up! 🥰 All the dogs got on really well, although I think Bronia’s bunch definitely have a little more energy than mine they really are the crazy gang! 😂 Ruby was on a mission today! She was storming off ahead of me at the beginning of the walk, which is very unlike her as she normally prefers to walk behind me or alongside me. Then, on the way back, she decided she was absolutely ready to go home and took off with one thing on her mind GETTING HOME! 🤣 I had to run after her and she certainly wasn’t stopping, so thanks for the unexpected extra bit of exercise, Ruby! 😂 Herbie did really well today and absolutely loved meeting some new dogs along the way. He always enjoys having a good sniff and saying hello to everyone. He also enjoyed his water break and actually had a proper drink, so I think he definitely needed it today. And, of course, he was very happy when treat time came around! Stanley was a little slower than usual today and I think the heat was getting to him. I made sure he had a good break when we stopped for water and found a nice shady spot for everyone to cool down. That definitely perked him up and he was much happier afterwards. ❤️
And then there was Benny, who spent most of the walk running around and having the best time playing with Bronia’s dogs. He was having so much fun until things got a little too rough for his liking at which point he came straight back to me! He likes to play, but apparently there is a very definite limit to how much playing he is prepared to tolerate 🤣🐾Heidi’s Paws

Monday walks with Stanley, Minnie, Benny & Herbie 🐾

These four were absolutely no bother today and we had such a lovely time out exploring together! 🥰 They were all very happy doing their own thing, sniffing, investigating and enjoying the walk.

Benny was having a particularly good time rolling around in the grass today. He was absolutely loving life! 😂 Then, completely out of nowhere, he and Minnie would have these random little bursts of energy and suddenly they’d be off chasing each other around before settling back down again. You never quite know when the zoomies are going to strike! 🤣

Minnie had her ears switched firmly into radar mode today! 👂We had a drone flying over us and she was absolutely fascinated by it. She kept looking up trying to work out where on earth this strange buzzing noise was coming from. I don’t think the other three even noticed it, so well spotted Minnie! 🛸🐶

Herbie, meanwhile, was busy making himself some new friends. He met a guide dog in training and she seemed to like Herbie a little bit too much! 😂 She decided she quite fancied joining our walk and was much more interested in following Herbie than sticking with her trainers. I think Herbie was rather pleased with himself and his new admirer! 🥰

Stanley was definitely feeling the heat today and spent a good part of the walk shade seeking. Every bit of shade we came across suddenly became the perfect place for a little break. Sensible boy, Stan! 🌳🐾

Morning walks with Alfie, Minnie and Bonnie. 🐾

We had a lovely morning out with Alfie, Minnie and Bonnie. As soon as Alfie and Minnie were off the lead, they were straight into a game of chase, sprinting around together and having the best time. It didn’t take long before they were zooming around the field, burning off some of that morning energy! 🤣 A friendly Spaniel came over hoping to join in with all the excitement, but Alfie had other ideas and quickly chased him off before getting straight back to playing with Minnie. It definitely gave us all a laugh! 😂 Once the excitement settled down, we enjoyed a nice long wander around the fields. Everyone spent plenty of time sniffing all the interesting smells, exploring the long grass and checking out all the latest doggy news. Bonnie was happy mooching along at her own pace while keeping an eye on what the other two were getting up to.

The three of them were brilliant together today. They kept checking back in, had lovely recall, and were so well behaved throughout the walk. We stopped regularly for water breaks to keep everyone cool and had a few tasty treats along the way, which always went down well! It was such a lovely, relaxed walk with lots of running, sniffing, exploring and happy wagging tails. A perfect way to spend the morning with this gorgeous trio. 🐾

Thursday’s walks with Stanley, Herbie, Boo, Daisy & Poppy 🐾

I started the day with Stanley and a little mooch around his fields. We spotted some dogs in the distance, and I think Stan got a bit overexcited sniffing one of them. She suddenly turned around and smacked him with her paw! He let out a little yelp. 🙈 Bless him!

Next up was Herbie, Boo, Daisy and Poppy. I knew rain was on the way, so we headed to the fields for a slightly less muddy adventure! As soon as they were off lead, they all took off running. Herbie and Boo were busy chasing the little birds before Boo decided to chase Poppy and Daisy instead. She had everyone puffing from the very start! 🤣 We bumped into lots of our doggy friends today. Poppy was feeling extra playful, joining in all the chasing games with everyone. Daisy was stealing other dogs’ balls 🤣 and loving being chased so she could give them back. Boo was in her element and didn’t know who to play with first, while poor Herbie was the main attraction for two very enthusiastic dogs whose owners had to pop them back on their leads to give the poor boy a break! 🙈 To top it all off, the heavens opened in the last few minutes of the walk, and we all got absolutely soaked! 🌧️🐾

Wednesday’s walks with Giorgio, Minnie, Bonnie, Ruby, Benny, Boo & Stanley 🐾

I started the day on the fields with Giorgio, Minnie and Bonnie. Minnie was full of beans this morning and wasted no time chasing after Giorgio once he’d had a good sniff around. 😂 He soon asked for his ball, which I happily gave him, and the two of them had a brilliant time racing after it. Giorgio always brings it back ready for another throw, while Minnie prefers to run off with it! 🤣 Giorgio was zooming all over the place with Minnie hot on his tail. We made sure to stop for plenty of water breaks… not that Bonnie needed many after spending most of the walk taking it easy! 😂💕

Next up were Ruby, Benny, Boo and Stanley, and my daughter Livia joined us for this walk. She loves dinosaurs, so I took her to Sunderland’s version of Jurassic Park! 🦖🤣 Benny and Boo had an amazing time chasing each other around. They absolutely loved the area with all the little hills the bikers use and spent ages charging up and down them. Boo was even doing laps around the rest of us. I swear that dog never runs out of batteries! 😂 Meanwhile, Stanley and Ruby were much happier taking their time, using their noses and investigating all the new smells. We stopped regularly for water breaks before carrying on exploring. Then we spotted a dog wandering around on its own. I managed to get a lead on him and, after a little search, we found his owner, who was so grateful to have him back. I was pretty relieved too. I really didn’t fancy a trip to the vets! 😂🐾

Tuesday’s Walks with Ruby, Benny, Herbie, Bonnie, Boo & Stanley 🐾

I switched Stanley’s walk to later in the day as I didn’t fancy heading out in the torrential rain! Instead, I started the morning with Ruby, Benny, Herbie, Bonnie and Boo on the fields, which are the least muddy after all the rain.

Ruby and Herbie spent ages walking side by side. They’re such a cute little old couple when they do that! 🥹 That was until Herbie spotted some birds and took off at full speed. 🤣Ruby wasn’t quite sure what all the excitement was about, so she wandered over to investigate, probably hoping it was a ball! 😂

Boo and Benny were absolutely non-stop! They chased each other around the fields the entire walk, and when Benny finally looked like he couldn’t run another step, Boo turned her attention to the birds and the other dogs. She was definitely living her best life! Thankfully, we all managed to stay dry… apart from Benny, who couldn’t resist a roly-poly in the soaking wet grass! 🤦‍♀️😂

Then it was Stanley’s turn. We enjoyed such a lovely, peaceful walk together. It was very warm, so warm in fact that he didn’t even want a treat! Instead, he happily wandered around at his own pace, taking in every single smell, which is definitely his favourite thing to do. ❤️🐾
