I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our clients and the Facebook community for your support yesterday when a photo was circulating around Facebook of a dog we had in our care sitting in the van, whoever it was has taken their post down probably because there was absolutely nothing wrong in what we done and the amount of positive comments we received

Just to clarify for anyone who didn’t see “apparently we left a dog in the van for over 40minutes in the sun”

This was absolutely NOT the case, the salon was closing for the day so I put Rolo (a Labrador) in the crate in the back of the van, with both van doors open, in a crate intended for large sized breeds whilst I mopped the floors. He was in their for 9 minutes whilst I finished up not 40 (I checked the CCTV) He was also not in direct sunlight as the sun was dipping in and out and he had shade in the van. This malicious person also claimed the crate was not locked but I’m absolutely certain Rolo would not have still been in the van after 9 minutes if the crate was not locked and secured as he loves to be an escape artist 🤣

We look after each and every dog that comes into our salon and treat them all like our own and I’m sure if dogs could speak Rolo would have much preferred to be sitting outside on a lovely day people watching than having to watch me mop the floors!

People really love to bring other people’s businesses down and I can never understand why but I’m very thankful to everyone who defended us and the amazing comments we received and we have gained a few more clients from it so every cloud I suppose! It’s still not nice having your business you love so much being in posted in a negative way, if we can be anything be kind and be mindful how much things effect people!
