Hi everyone, just a little note to say Betsy ate some rat poison tonight…we took her straight to the vets and she’s safe and sound .
I wanted to let you know what rat poison looks like… it was well hidden in the grass but obviously smelled great for her to sniff it out!
Avonvale vets were incredible, she had an injection to make her vomit .. monitored and sent home with tips on signs and after care.
Poison can be hidden in food or just lying in the grass… if you suspect your pet has ingested it… take them straight to the vet’s.
I have a very sleepy and cuddly pup and so grateful for my amazing kids for keeping calm and cooking dinner for us when Rich and I came home ❤️ I’m very lucky!
