🎃👻 THINGS PET OWNERS SAY THAT HAUNT US 👻🎃

From “my pet hasn’t eaten for over a week…” to “they’ve eaten something, but I’m not sure what!” — our days are never boring! 🫣

We love you and your pets dearly, but we might need a little lie down after some of these… 👀😂

Wishing all of our clients & pets a Happy Halloween from your friendly (slightly spooked) team at Fab Vets! 🧡🖤

“I bet you just cuddle pets all day…” 🥹🐾

Well… you’re not entirely wrong! 😂💛

There are definitely some perks to working at FAB! 🐶🐱

But behind every cuddle is a team of dedicated people working hard to keep your pets happy, healthy and feeling their best. 🩺✨

And if we get a few extra snuggles along the way? We certainly won’t complain! 🥰

Connie & Georgie couldn’t resist snuggles with Freckles & Peanut who came in for their dental procedures today 🐶🦷🪥

🐾💊 a little FAB VETS reminder on your pets repeat prescriptions 💊 🐾

Please note: we do require at least 24 hours’ notice when requesting repeat medications for your pets!

This gives our team time to process your request, check everything and order any medication we may need. 🐶🐱

We know life gets busy, and it’s easy to forget but where possible please give us advance notice for us to process your pets repeat medication & avoid disappointment!

Thank you for your co-operation 💛

🎆 FIREWORK SEASON IS HERE — LET’S BE PREPARED & KEEP OUR PETS SAFE! 🐾

While fireworks can be nice for us, the loud bangs and bright flashes can be frightening for our four-legged friends 💛

🐶 For dogs: Walk before dark, create a cosy safe space and keep them secure on walks and at home.

🐱 For cats: Keep them indoors after dark, close the cat flap and provide plenty of safe hiding places.

🏡 For both: Close windows and curtains, put the TV or radio on, and stay calm. If your pet wants reassurance, comfort them — and never punish them for being scared.

💛 Worried about your pet’s fear of fireworks? Don’t wait until Bonfire Night! Speak to our team at Fab Vets in advance. We can discuss ways to help your pet feel more comfortable, including whether veterinary treatment may be appropriate.

Let’s make firework season a little less frightening for our furry friends. 🐾
