From vaccinations and microchipping to routine health checks and preventative care, you can easily take a look at our prices before your visit.

Of course, every pet is an individual and sometimes their needs can be a little more complicated. If you’re unsure about the cost of something, our friendly team are always happy to chat and provide an estimate where appropriate. 🐶🐱

Please find our opening hours for the upcoming bank holiday!

We will be CLOSED, Sunday 30th & Monday 31st but will be back open Tuesday 1st September - by appointment only 🐾

For emergencies outside of our opening hours, as always our colleagues at Severn Edge & Mi Night Vets Bridgnorth are there to assist you. If you call our main number 01384 837 820 & hold the line you will automatically be directed straight through to them ☺️

🐾 Why is puppy socialisation so important? 🐾

Just look at our gorgeous little visitor, Biggs! 🥰🐶

Puppyhood is such an important time for learning, exploring and building positive experiences. Socialisation isn’t just about meeting lots of other dogs — it’s about gently introducing puppies to the many sights, sounds, people, animals and situations they may experience throughout their lives.

✨ Meeting different people
✨ Experiencing different environments
✨ Hearing new sounds and seeing new sights
✨ Learning how to calmly interact with other dogs
✨ Getting used to handling, grooming and veterinary visits
✨ Building confidence in new and unfamiliar situations

The aim is to help puppies learn that the world is a safe and positive place. 🥰

For Biggs, experiences like visiting Fab Vets from a young age can help make future veterinary visits less daunting. A positive experience of being handled, weighed, examined and having lots of tasty treats can help him grow into a confident adult who feels comfortable coming to see us. 🩺💛

Remember, socialisation should always be positive, gradual and appropriate for your puppy. It’s not about overwhelming them with as many experiences as possible — it’s about giving them good experiences at their own pace. 🐾

Because the confident, happy adult dog we all want starts with the experiences they have as a puppy. 💙

We’ll always love you, Dolly 💕✨

Today we’re saying goodbye to a true legend. 💔

Dolly Parton wasn’t just a country music icon, an incredible songwriter and one of the most recognisable women in the world — she was a woman with an enormous heart.

Across a career spanning more than six decades, Dolly gave us songs that became part of our lives, from Jolene and 9 to 5 to I Will Always Love You. But perhaps her greatest legacy will be the countless lives she touched through her kindness and generosity.

From her incredible Imagination Library, which has gifted hundreds of millions of books to children around the world, to her support for communities affected by disasters, healthcare, education and so many other causes, Dolly believed in using her success to help others. 💗

And of course, we have a particularly soft spot for Dolly’s love of animals. 🐾 She used her voice to advocate for dogs, supported animal rescue through her Doggy Parton range, and helped champion bald eagle conservation through Dollywood. A reminder that kindness really does have no limits. 🦅🐶💕

So today, here at Fab Vets, we’ll be honouring Dolly the only way we know how…

Working 9 to 5… 😂💉🐾

Because someone’s got to keep the pets happy, healthy and very much living their best Dolly life. 💕

Thank you for the music, the laughter, the kindness and the reminder that we can all make the world a little brighter. We will miss you Dolly 💛

Norton, We’re Here For You 💛

Yesterday was a devastating day for our local community, but it also showed just how much we can pull together when it matters most. ❤️

We’re proud to be part of a community that looks out for one another — and we want to do our bit too.

🐾 Fab Vets will be offering pets of families in the following areas: Racecourse Lane, Norton Road, Ounty John Lane, Quarry Park & Brunswick Gate, Melrose Drive & Worcester Lane who have been affected by the wildfires a FREE consultation to check them over and make sure they’re okay 🫶🏻

If you or someone you know has been affected, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team, we would be happy to help in any way we can 🐾

We also want to mention that there are currently a lot of cats missing locally who fled from their homes in search for safety; some are patients of ours who we really want to reunite with their owners. If you see a cat locally who you have not noticed in the area before then please bring them into us so we can check them for a microchip - they may be just one phone call away from being reunited with their family 🐱❤️

Meet our new nurse, Jenny! 🤎

You may have already met Jenny if you’ve visited us recently! She joined us in May and has been a fantastic addition to our nursing team 🐾

Jenny qualified in 2017 and enjoys all aspects of nursing, with a particular passion for anaesthesia and inpatient care. She holds a nursing certificate in anaesthesia and is always looking for ways to make your pet’s visit as fear-free and pain-free as possible. She’s a strong advocate for the use of local anaesthetics wherever appropriate to ensure the best possible care for our patients! 🫶🏻

Outside of work, Jenny loves going to gigs and musicals, impressing us with her collection of limited edition vinyls! 🎶 She also enjoys spending time with her beloved cross breed dog, Bruce 🐶

I’m sure you will all give her a very warm welcome to the FAB family 💛
