🎄🐾 YES… WE’RE TALKING ABOUT CHRISTMAS ALREADY! 🐾🎄

We know, we know… it’s only August! 😂

But with September already down to limited availability, now is the time we start thinking ahead to those very busy autumn and Christmas diaries.

Many of our regular clients already have their appointments booked in advance, so spaces — particularly those all-important pre-Christmas grooms — can disappear much earlier than you might expect. ✂️🐶

If you know your pooch is going to need a groom before Santa arrives, please don’t wait until December to ask! 🎅🏼🐾

And if the appointment you need is already gone, we’ll have our cancellation list running too.

When you stock dog treats, it’s only fair that the resident taste testers get involved…

🌙☀️ Tonight’s eclipse (if it’s not overcast and we get to see it) — a little reminder for our four-legged family too 🐾

While we’re all looking forward to catching a glimpse of tonight’s eclipse, remember that our dogs’ eyes need protecting too. 👀🐶

Dogs don’t usually stare directly at the sun, so there’s no need to panic or keep them shut indoors — just don’t encourage them to look up at it, especially for photos.

🐾 No special eclipse glasses needed
☀️ Don’t encourage them to look directly at the sun
🏡 If you’re worried, keeping them indoors is absolutely fine
🤍 Otherwise, walks and normal outdoor time can carry on as usual

The eclipse might be a big event for us… chances are our dogs will be far more interested in what’s for dinner! 😂

This handsome Cockapoo has officially completed his Puppy Package with his very first full haircut.

What you can see is the transformation on the outside. What you can’t see is everything that happened over the last few visits.

Our Puppy Package is designed to introduce grooming slowly, helping puppies become comfortable with bathing, drying, brushing, handling and the sights and sounds of the salon before their first full groom.

That means when haircut day arrives, it’s not a completely new experience. Instead, we can focus on making it calm, positive and enjoyable while building confidence for a lifetime of grooming.

A successful first groom isn’t measured by how short the coat is—it’s measured by how happy and comfortable the puppy feels throughout the process.

We’re so proud of this little gentleman and can’t wait to watch him grow. 🤍🐶
