Let’s discuss the dreaded Shave down 🙈
I have permission from Teddy’s mama to share this post 🩷

Teddy came to me back in April needing help with some serious Matting issues
He has a very tight curled coat which requires some high home maintenance, and unfortunately he had just gone past the brushing stage

So for Teddy’s health and comfort I had no other option but to shave him down on a very short blade
No Groomer enjoys Shaving off a pups coat, not only does it potentially ruin our tools it can be so dangerous with those sharp blades so close to the skin

As you can see from the procedure Teddy’s coat was coming off as a pelt 🙈
The result wasn’t Teddy’s best look 🤣 but the relief from all those weeks of discomfort must of felt fabulous for him as he instantly got the zoomies as soon as I put him on the floor 🙌

Fast forward 2 months and now with daily brushing at home with the correct brush Teddy is growing back beautifully 🩷
Regular Grooming is vital for these curly coats
I’m here to chat and advise what the correct tools are to use at home to prevent this happening
Sorry for the long winded post but the welfare of your furballs is of the upmost importance 🩷
