God bless all the dogs out there in the next few days. Spare a thought for them when you’re feeling hot and bothered! Doing everything possible to keep my gang safe this week, early starts, loss of earnings but all worth it. 🥵❤️🐾🔥

I had to stop a group of kids today walking a German Shepherd in 33 degrees heat. Told them to take it home immediately. Seriously guys educate, educate, advocate! They can’t speak so we speak for them!!

We feel it necessary to share this message again.

If you are walking a dog today or over the next few days - go out in the early morning or late evening when it’s cooler. DO NOT walk a dog during the hottest parts of the day.

Don’t run or cycle with your dog when it’s hot.

DO NOT leave them in the car or tied up in the heat!

Pavements can get very hot! You know the saying, "it's hot enough to fry an egg!" Imagine what that does to your poor dogs' feet! If the ground is too hot to touch with your hand for five seconds, it’s too hot for paws!

6am starts this week for me to keep the gang safe! All done before 10:30 this morning. We wait all year for nice weather as a dog walker but this for us is stressful. The responsibility weighs heavy. 🥵🔥🐾🥾
