So I've not posted on here for a little while. In my other remit I've been very busy rehabbing dogs with my physical therapy and hydrotherapy.

I couldn't help notice that local election results and politics seem to have sparked a lot of controversy.

This is not a political post it's just my thoughts. How great would it be if we lived in a world where dogs were in charge of everything 🤔

I think we should strive to have a Paw Minister. They'd give love unconditionally. Everyone would be fed and watered. They'd insist power naps were obligatory...

Just my thoughts 🥰🤗

If only everyone could be more dog... Honesty, loyalty and without an agenda xx

IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURE!!!!

Please note there is a road closure on the B2135. If you're coming to us today this is currently in place until 3rd February.

I believe you will be able to pass if you ask the roadwork team. You may have to wait though. Please leave ample time for your journeys xx

Hey Happy New Year everyone! Hope you're all well.

Just a little heads up to anybody travelling to us tomorrow. The Horsham Road (B2135) is pretty flooded. I encountered 6 flooded patches on my way home tonight headed from mine to the Steyning Bypass. So please be careful tomorrow. With more rain forecast overnight it's worth being a little cautious ⚠️

Worst I've ever seen it in my 6 1/2 years of being here! Xx

Merry Christmas everyone! I just want to say from the bottom of my heart a huge thank you to all of you who make the field and barn an incredible place to visit. Moreover your loyal custom.

I wanted to share a very special day yesterday making memories with my 2. Some of you will already know Misty suffered a spinal stroke in October 2023 and Woody had 1 6 months later!

This year in September Woody then nearly died due to aspiration pneumonia... My dogs love to scare the sh*t out of me!

I have wanted to take them both to see Christmas lights for the last 2 years. Yesterday we finally made it! I was blown away by Tulleys Christmas Light Festival.

I was worried having 2 disabled dogs but honestly it was excellent. Such a dog friendly experience. Poo bins, water bowls and most importantly good paths with gentle slopes. Perfect for my pups!

Here they are enjoying just 1 of the many sections. Woody absolutely loved all the sparkly and twinkly lights 🥰😍 As a sighthound this sort of visual stimulation is mesmerising to him. Misty was more interested in sniffing literally every 2 steps or barking at the smaller dogs 🤣 there was plenty of space to step aside with Misty being reactive to predominantly small breed dogs. Although she did have a go at a husky 🙄🙈🤣

Will definitely be going back next year! If you get a chance it's well worth it.

Hey hope everyone is well. What are everyone's thoughts on the announcement today from the CMA regarding veterinary practices?

What I feel is we have a long way to go to resolve an industry that is broken in many places...

I am sick of hearing people calling others "vet bashers". When did it become wrong to have an opinion. In the same breath we all need to remember if a vet is working for a practice corporate or independent they're still an employee and working to the best of their ability within the constraints of a contract of employment.

Like every corner and profession. There is good and bad in everything. If you weren't aware the rate of su***de is 1 of the highest in veterinary vs any other profession.

So think about what you're saying. Be kind always but that doesn't mean you aren't entitled to instigate meaningful open discussions and debate.

After all our pets are family. Let's try and be part of the solution and yes querying and advocating in your pet's welfare is part of being a good owner xx
