Thompson House Equestrian Centre has a five star ⭐️ licence rating, is BHS, Pony Club and RDA Accredited and is a BHS Everyone welcome site. We are an Alternative Education Provider quality assured by Wigan, Lancashire and Bolton.
We are part of My Life Legacy charity and host Stable Door Cafe & Ice Cream Parlour. Our values are about inclusion and opportunity for all.
Due to an increase in horses, riding lessons. alternative educational provision and equine activity we are seeking the following:-
COACH
A highly competent BHS Riding Coach who is skilled in delivering high quality:-
1. Riding lessons - all ages and abilities.
2. Horse knowledge and care sessions for a range of customers and students working at various levels following a syllabus including BHS- Challenge Awards, CLTH to BHS Stages, Pony Club, RDA etc..
4. Coaching for apprentices / staff CPD.
3. Skills in - Lesson planning, leadership, creativity, ability to inspire and adapt to change.
4. A person who loves to coach and share their passion of horses with others with enthusiasm and compassion.
5. MUST be able to work on Saturdays. Full time - part time or freelance all considered.
6. Able to ride and school horses is optional.
7. Excellent rates of pay.
8. Investment in your CPD for further qualifications as required.
YARD
We require a competent, experienced individual to run our yard on Sundays.
1. A good track record in horse care and welfare.
2. Excellent work ethic, able to use initiative and have pride.
3. Good leadership skills.
4. Excellent customer care skills.
5. Efficient, effective and trustworthy.
6. Working hours to be arranged MUST work Sundays - other days/ hours are a possibility.
7. Excellent rates of pay
8. Investment in CPD / qualifications.
9. Able to ride and school horses is optional.
10. Reliability is critical.
