ONE WHOLE YEAR OF NICKY 🎉🐶

Which, more importantly, means she has officially survived 12 months of working with (sometimes simply managing) Chris. 😂

Today marks a full year since Nicky joined DHD - and we genuinely wouldn’t know what we’d do without her now.

From classes and clients to problem-solving, ideas, keeping things moving and occasionally stopping Chris from making questionable decisions unsupervised… she’s a massive part of what DHD is.

A lot has changed in the last 12 months. A lot more is still changing. And we’re very glad she’s here for all of it. ❤️

Happy one year, Nicky.

Here’s to year two… assuming Chris doesn’t finish you off first. 😂

And just like that… October is done. 🌙🐶

It’s been a busy one.

New classes.
New timetable.
Winter lights.
Site improvements.
Christmas taking over the shop far earlier than it should have.😂
And a lot of dogs through the gates.

The darker evenings are definitely here now, but DHD looks pretty lovely under the lights... if we do say so ourselves!

November starts tomorrow - and we’ve got plenty more going on already. 👀

For tonight though… that’s October wrapped up. ❤️

FREE FIELD HIRE. 👀(Kind of!)

From November, our training field becomes exclusive to Partnership members - and every membership includes hire spots each month.

So if you’re already training with us, you can now use the field between sessions too - for recalls, sniffing, practising, decompressing, or just letting your dog have a run around.

Walter’s first winter(ish!) weather report is in. 🌈💨

Windy? Yep. Rainy? Apparently not. Apocalyptic? Not quite. 😂

A little reminder that conditions at DHD can be very different to conditions at home.

If we need to cancel, we’ll let you know.

If you decide the sofa looks more appealing… that’s one of the joys of flexible membership. 😆

The clocks are changing… and so are we! ⏰🐶

The clocks go back this weekend, which means our winter timetable is nearly here.

We’ve been doing some serious timetable Tetris behind the scenes and, once everything goes live after this weekend, we’ll have 30+ training sessions running every week. 😳

More choice. More evening training. More opportunities to get out with your dog through the darker months. 💪

One slightly boring but important reminder:

All DHD session times are always LOCAL TIME.

So if your booking says 10:00am, you come at 10:00am. Please just check your digital calendar hasn't tried to be clever and adjust the time for you 🤣

No adding an hour. No taking an hour away. No standing at the gate wondering whether your car, phone, or kitchen clock is lying to you. 😂

It’s been a busy week! Dogs have trained their owners... or something like that 😆

Things have been built. Christmas has exploded all over the shop.

Nobody is quite sure how we got here, where here is, what time it is, and if the lights should be on!

And, don't tell Chris cause he thinks he's getting a day off, but we’re only getting started. 👀

GOOD NEWS: Chris has finally been allowed to have lunch. 😂

After making enough progress on the new Christmas toy stand for Holly to actually start filling it, we decided he had earned a break.

And unlike yesterday… today’s lunch actually made it out of the van. 🎉

Christmas is now very much taking over the shop 🎄🐶

Still a few finishing touches to go, but we’re getting there!
