We have had many requests for teeth cleaning and dental advice and are pleased to be able to offer this service next Sunday. This is available for all breeds but the dog must be well behaved.

The usual taster zoomies, refreshments, etc will be available as well as a few of our dogs available for adoption so if you’re considering a greyhound do pop in.

We are aware of the posts circulating regarding a dog that very sadly died after visiting a tulip festival.

We want to make it very clear that, despite what is circulating in the press and on social media, this dog did not die as a result of tulip poisoning.

As the UK’s only animal poison centre in the UK, we have managed over 1600 cases regarding tulips. Based on this evidence and our research, we can reassure the public that the clinical signs described in this case are not consistent with tulip toxicity. While tulips may cause gastrointestinal upset if ingested, severe cases are very uncommon. Other potential causes should be considered in this case.

REHOMED.

Neddy has found his forever home! On Saturday he went for an afternoon visit to see how he would get along with 2 terriers and a cheeky but charming Saluki cross pup. He made himself at home and endeared himself to everyone and didn’t return from his visit. Happy new home Neddy 😊😊

Here we have the handsome Neddy enjoying his first recall training, he absolutely aced it. This lad loves all people including children, walks well on the lead and is non reactive to other breeds. He is quite a character as he snaps his teeth when he’s excited or happy which is most of the time, it’s very endearing. Neddy absolutely loves going for walks, trips to pubs and parks, and human attention. He is three years old and has a clean bill of health. As with all our dogs Neddy comes with full back up, a generous adoption pack including a coat, leather collar and lead, food, house collar and more. The adoption fee is £150 and Neddy is in Co. Durham

Huge thanks to everyone who came along yesterday for Barks & Banter. Thanks to Shona Petch for clipping hundreds of nails and to Samantha Kay Wendel for the use of her beautiful facilities. We raised a fabulous £108-17 for our hounds and we are extremely grateful.
Neddy and Paddy thoroughly enjoyed their day out 😊😊
