Our next Summer Series Dressage Competition is to take place on 14th June

Entries are open on Equo Events

To ensure the safety and health of our own horses on site PLEASE FOLLOW the following guidance.

-Please ensure ALL HORSES vaccinations are current and compliant. ALL passports will be checked BEFORE UNLOADING
-Any horses that are NOT vaccinated are not permitted on site AND WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY
-Passports will be checked, none compliance will result in competitors being asked to leave
ANYONE WITHOUT A PASSPORT must not unload their horse or enter any facilities.

-ALL horse owners have a responsibility to ensure they help reduce the risk of spread amongst the wider equine community. DO NOT visit venues if your horse or any horses on your yard show ANY viral signs or symptoms, or are unwell in anyway.
-Horses should be returned to their box between classes and not be held or congregated in groups in or around the facilities.
-DO NOT TIE UP outside boxes unless tacking up/washing off.
-Horses are not permitted to hand graze in any areas of the venue.
-Competitors are advised to keep their distance from others.
-Do not share tack or equipment.
-Please DO NOT allow any direct contact with any horses in fields/ stables, via visiting horses or handlers
-NO ACCESS is permitted at any time to our stables.
-Report any suspected cases of illness immediately.
-Maintaining high standards of vigilance and biosecurity is essential to protecting ALL HORSES within the equine community.

Bookings are open - when you book we are asking you to send copies of the vaccination records over - given the current flu situation. And please take all sensible measures necessary.

📢📢 We have not come to this decision lightly but have made the decision to CANCEL the Show on 31st May 📢📢

We are now aware of a confirmed case of equine flu and either flu or ehv at another relatively close location in the north east, so after seeking veterinary advice we have made the decision to cancel the show, this is for the safety of our own horses on site, including an in foal mare.

As we all know certain competitions attract larger entry numbers, with greater numbers gathering together, thus creating a perfect environment to potentially spread infection, with this in mind we send our sincere apologies but the safety and biosecurity of our own horses on site must come first.

All pre entries will be refunded, over the coming days.

Updates will follow regarding dressage competitions - the rustic ride remains open as it is situated a good distance from the yard.
