I only use the core Nobivac Tricat vaccine for my kittens – it covers everything they truly need. I have never had a kitten with a bad reaction to tricat
I don’t give the feline leukaemia vaccine. Sphynx should be an indoor cats only, so the risk of them catching it is basically zero. This vaccine has a higher risk of post-vaccine sarcoma and I’ve seen and heard too many cases of cats getting poorly – and even passing away – shortly after having it.
It’s also written into my kitten contracts – my cats are never to be vaccinated for FeLV. This way, they get the protection they need without unnecessary risks.
