Looking to start making walks enjoyable again?

Our Bronze Life Skills course is a fun and engaging 6 week programme focusing on the real life skills that make every day with your dog more enjoyable!

Over 6 weeks you will work on:
✅ Loose lead walking
✅ Recall around distractions
✅ Impulse control and calm behaviour
✅ A brand new trick every week
✅ A fun challenge week to finish!

Classes take place in a large fully enclosed private field, perfect for dogs of all confidence levels. Ideal as a follow on from Puppy Life Skills or for rescue and older dogs needing a positive start.

🥈 Silver Life Skills is coming soon and spaces are filling FAST 💨

If you and your dog smashed Bronze Life Skills and you are ready to keep the momentum going, Silver Life Skills is your next step!

Silver takes everything you built in Bronze and turns the dial up. More distractions, more challenges and more of the good stuff that makes training so rewarding. Here is what to expect:

🐾 Proofing your loose lead walking so it holds in the real world
🐾 Taking your recall to the next level around serious distractions
🐾 Working through temptation and teaching your dog to make better choices
🐾 A new trick - and this one is genuinely life saving!

Silver is where a lot of people find the training really starts to fall into place. You and your dog have the foundations, now it is about putting them to the test and seeing just how far you have both come!

🐾 Puppy Conversations vs Social Skills - which one does your dog need?

We get asked this a lot so here is a quick breakdown!

Puppy Conversations 🐣
- Aimed at puppies under 20 weeks
- Primarily off lead
- Focused on building confidence and positive experiences with other dogs
- Also open to older dogs who are nervous around other dogs and need to build their confidence gently
- Goal: happy, positive interactions between puppies

Social Skills 🌟
- Aimed at dogs over 20 weeks
- Primarily on lead
- Focused on teaching your dog to stay calm and focused on you around other dogs
- Brilliant for dogs who find other dogs a bit too exciting and struggle with frustration
- Goal: calmness and self control around other dogs

Both sessions run every Saturday morning at River Hamble Country Park so you can come along as and when suits you!

Force free doesn’t mean allowing your dog to do whatever they want, it simply means we don’t use fear, pain or intimidation to stop our dogs doing things.

Is this training perfect with my dog? No, in an ideal world she’d have left the poo alone when I first cued her to leave it however she’s a dog and I’m a human and sometimes we’re not perfect 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes all that’s needed is a little patience with our dogs. Limit the option to do the thing you don’t want them to do and wait for them to choose the option you do want them to do.
