🐶💛 Helping Your Puppy Feel Safe 💛🐶

Feeling safe is so important for our puppies! As new puppy parents, our biggest job is to help them feel secure and protected. Staying close to them (even at night) reassures them that we are there to keep them safe. Puppies rely on us to guide them through the world, and when they feel safe, they grow into confident, happy dogs! 🐕✨

❌ Using fear or punishment can make puppies feel unsure about us. Instead, we want to build trust so they know we will always look out for them.

Here are some simple ways to help your puppy feel safe:

🐾 Respect Their Space – Let them eat in peace, don’t wake them up when they’re resting, and make sure children give them space when they’re in their safe spots. Puppies need lots of sleep, and interruptions can make them feel unsettled. 😴🍖

🐾 Stick to a Routine – Puppies love knowing what to expect! Keeping a steady routine for mealtimes, walks, play, and naps helps them feel more secure. The more predictable their world is, the safer they’ll feel. 🕰️🐕

🐾 Avoid Unnecessary Conflict – If your puppy has something they’re allowed to have, don’t take it away. If you need to swap something, trade it for a high-value treat or toy so they learn sharing is positive, not scary. 🦴🎾

By creating a safe, predictable, and positive environment, your puppy will learn that they can always rely on you. This builds a strong, loving bond that will last a lifetime! 💛🐶
