Swallowfield EC is a family owned BHS Highly Commended Livery and Competition centre in Lapworth.

This weekend 30th and 31st August we are hiring out our indoor arena on both Saturday and Sunday.

This is very rare and we are having a weekend off running shows. Perfect timing for some very welcome rain.

45 minute slots at only £20 and bring a friend for free.

There are limited slots left to book on :
Saturday: 1.30pm
Sunday : 1.30pm

Don’t delay in booking on and slots will close this evening at 6pm.

Well done everyone who competed with us here this Bank Holiday weekend - a busy double date of dressage with some brilliant riding and scores 👏👏

On Saturday saw our last summer points qualifiers for Quest riders before the winter points season kicks off on 1st September.

The highest senior score of the day went to Kylie Priddey-Smith riding Upsall’s Harmony D’Amor scoring 70.83% in Prelim 3👏👏

The highest U21 score of the day went to Lily-Rose Holden-Griffin riding Miss Candy Cane scoring 69.2% in Prelim 1👏👏

A big shout out to KA Superstars the U21 team -a very busy day for you all 🥰

Huge thanks to Saturday’s co judge Sue Gudge and to our writers Steph Wright and Mon Kilminster🙌

Not to mention a big thank you to Lewis for stewarding, scoring and reading tests. 😊

Today we had an early start running British Dressage tests and we had some super horses scoring over 70%.

Rebecca Hughes set the bar high being first in at 8.45am scoring 76.19% on the stunning Sweet Serenity PJ in Prelim 5 and was the highest score of the day 🙌🙌
She also then rode HP Elvira in Novice 4 winning the whole class with 72.5 % 😍

Great to see Claire Marston here competing with Solitaire II winning the elem 4 overall with 72.16%👏👏

We had some super scores in the music classes too!

Lewis Pratley and Elaine Wallace’s Kingston won the novice fsm with 73.61 %👏👏

Newly married Alex Houldcroft riding Bardot Herself stormed the elem fsm scoring a huge 75.19 %👏👏

Hayley Keating riding Valencia ll won the medium fsm with 70.5 %👏👏

A special mention to Lewis, Jane and Annelise doing brilliantly today and flying the flag for the yard 😍

The highest score of the day went to Emma Rowbottom riding Harley XIII scoring 70.8% in Prelim 1👏👏

Sarah Cooke riding Louie were a close second scoring 70.68% in intro 1 👏👏

We are super proud here at Swallowfield EC of Lewis Pratley and Elaine Wallace’s Kingston (George) winning the novice bronze Petplan regionals today at Onley.

It’s been a whirlwind start for Lewis and George - and with only a handful of competitions under their belt together👏👏

Really exciting for the best owner ever Elaine, who wants nothing but the very best for her horses, and has offered Lewis this amazing opportunity to further his riding experience here and to back up his judging skills 😍

Jade -a huge thanks for warming them both up and all your help 🥰

We are thrilled here at Swallowfield EC to see so many dressage riders placed at the Trailblazers Championships 🏵️🏵️

It’s so fantastic to ride at Addington Manor and to have three days of back to back dressage, staying away and making new friends is a brilliant experience. Getting horses used to flags, the atmosphere - riding what feels like three different horses on three different days will make any other dressage final feel pretty easy. Sara Green is the most superb organiser and you are in the best hands in the business.

Well done to everyone who has supported our Trailblazers shows all year and who qualified at the second rounds to ride there. 👏👏

We restart 1st rounds from October and will be held every fortnight at weekends and we look forward to another successful season.

Join us this Saturday 9th August for Stressless Dressage 🥰
Entries close tonight at 9pm ( Wednesday) and tests will be starting at lunchtime.

Stressless Dressage here is lovely and stress free, no need to plait or wear competition gear if you don’t want to. Please wear 2 numbers though and BD legal tack 👍

You have extra time in the arena and pop your hand up before the bell rings so it’s a super chilled experience !

Fab for new combos, young or old horses and riders and we have an assisted class first at intro level for the diddy lead rein riders ( just add in the notes whether you need a reader and bring £2.00 per class) 👍

Dressage Discovery Day 👇
If you’re currently competing in unaffiliated dressage, or you want to give dressage a go for the first time, this is the event for you!

This event is a chance to give you a taste of British Dressage (BD) competitions and training activity, in an informal setting. You will get the chance to ride a dressage test and receive verbal feedback plus a written sheet from Jo Swain, List 3 Judge and BDCC L4 coach.

Warm up in the outdoor arena and head in for your session at your given time ready to ride your test.

PLUS, everyone who attends will be given a BD Class ticket, giving you the opportunity to try a BD competition for free before signing up to a membership.

All non-members and previous members are welcome to attend, and you can wear training or competition wear.

You have options to book a 30 minute test ride or warm up on your own and ride your test with 15 minute sessions to book too 👍

Well done everyone who competed with us here yesterday in our British Dressage North and West Show.

The highest score of the show went to one of our regulars Steff Parry riding Mistral D’Amour scoring 70.0% in Prelim 6👏👏

Lynsey Brindley was a close second riding Rock Diva Il in Novice 6 scoring 69.16 % and Guy Goodings riding Quintessa scored 69.16 % in Novice 4 👏👏

Well done everyone and a special mention to Nicky Brunt and Fortane Hugo 📷 who is back in action after a few months off 🥰

This weekend coming we have British Dressage - Quest Club (am) and Stressless Unaffilated dressage (pm)

Sunday 10th we have indoor arena hire in the morning for anyone wanting to practice their tests. Only £20 for 45 minutes and bring a friend for free.

Well done everyone who competed with us here yesterday - a busy day of dressage with some brilliant riding and scores 👏👏

In the morning we ran BD classes prom prelim- advanced medium including music with some riders having a run out before Petplan semis and regional finals.

The highest score of the show went to Alex Houldcroft riding Bardot Herself scoring 73.07% in the elem fsm 🎶👏👏 They also won the Elem 4 with 71% - Alex hopefully can now concentrate on her wedding !🥂

Sarah Higgs riding Uncle Lionel won the novice fsm 🎶 with 70% 👏👏
Catherine Rose riding Abernenai Gilbern Invader scored 70.33 % in the medium fsm 🎶👏👏

Well done everyone and a special mention to one of our liveries Jane Brook and Mattie who won the Novice 5 class 🥰
