As Volunteers Week begins, we want to say a massive, gigantic, HUGE thank you to all of our incredible and amazing volunteers 🐶🐾

The impact you have on our dogs, our team and our centre is immeasurable. Your kindness, dedication, support and love for the dogs help make our centre the special place it is! 😊

We’re endlessly grateful for all that you do. You are such valued and appreciated members of our team, and every hour you give makes such a real difference 🥹

There’s nothing quite like seeing a dog happy in the home 🐶🏡

After the post we shared of the doodles the other day, we thought it important to share what adopting a doodle can look like. So, here is the lovely Larry enjoying life in his forever home 💛

A sensitive and gentle boy, Larry was simply looking for a home where he could continue to grow in confidence and blossom into the companion we knew he could be. And blossom he has 🌷

His new adopters say the timid dog he once was has disappeared! He’s settled right in and certainly made himself at home (upon the garden furniture 🤣) Friends who meet him absolutely adore him and he’s been building up quite the fan club 😆

We’re so happy for Larry and his family, and wish them all the best 🥰

A gentle morning stroll somewhere peaceful as the sun rises, a coffee in hand, then home for sofa snoozes and watching Madge enjoy zoomies in the garden in the evening - sounds perfect to us 💛

Madge is a sweet girl who loves people, soft toys and chilling. She’s looking for a calm home in a peaceful area, with access to quieter walks, adopters with plenty of patience and kindness, and someone who appreciates the slower side of life 🥰

Honestly? She sounds like the perfect bank holiday companion ☀️

With a heatwave on the way, here’s a little reminder to help keep your dogs safe, cool and comfortable as the temperatures rise ☀️🐾

From avoiding hot pavements to making sure they always have access to shade and water, small changes can make a huge difference to our furry friends during a heatwave! And remember if it feels too hot for you, it probably feels even hotter for them 💛
