Equine Influenza.

As a result of the increase in reported cases of equine influenza, the Equine Infectious Diseases Action Group has recommended that there needs to be a period of increased vigilance and monitoring to help prevent a further spread of the disease.

If your horse's annual booster was over 6 months ago, it is recommended that you bring the next booster forward to provide sufficient cover when out competing over the summer.

At SRC events:

-please do not allow your horse to get close (ideally at least 25 metres) to other horses unless they live together;
-please do not touch other horses;
-if your horse is showing any flu like symptoms, please stay home.

Thank you!
