Sevenoaks Riding Club Welcome to Sevenoaks Riding Club! All our shows/training sessions are open to members & non-members

Sevenoaks Riding Club has been welcoming horses and riders since 1948 and is only one of two clubs in England to have its own grounds. The club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs, part of the British Horse Society, and welcomes riders of all abilities and ages. Our training clinics and competitions are aimed at all levels. Junior and Senior teams compete at Area level and frequently qualify for

National Championships. The Riding Club ground, Redlands, is situated adjacent to Knole Park in Sevenoaks and has a variety of facilities for members' use including:

60 x 20 Equitred Arena
Sand Jumping Lane
Cross Country Course (2ft - 3ft)
Large grass Show Jumping Arena

MEMBERSHIP

The Club offers three levels of membership

NON RIDING

Includes receipt of ‘Hoofprints’, our newsletter, and the national ‘Rider’ magazine. RIDING

Includes the Newsletter, Rider magazine, priority on Club Training Clinics, reduced entry fees and eligibility for Area team competitions. This gives Riding Members a chance to qualify for the BRC National Championships. REDLANDS

Includes all the benefits above plus unlimited use of Redlands and its facilities at any time-except on clinic or competition days.

Another great day for Sevenoaks and those members competing in the Grassroots Area Dressage competition.

Our senior team won consisting of Barbara James, Lynn Bruce, Claire Scott and Katherine Clewley and the juniors coming 2nd consisting of Charlotte Mitchell, Charlotte Mercer, Abbey Mardell and Chloe Mikhailoff.

Barbara and Abbey both came first in their sections so Arena UK in 2026 here we come!

🌟Hunter Trial Training Day - Sunday 19th October🌟

An exciting opportunity to ride around the Redlands XC course without the competitive atmosphere, these are intended to be fun training days.

Perfect for young, nervous or novice combinations.
👉🏼 11am - XC Training

Starting at 10am there will be a group XC instruction, where riders can practice the jumps, that they will be riding. After the training, there will be an opportunity to ride around the course as a 'clear round'. All clear rounds will receive a rosette

Entry Fee:
🌟 Training (to include a Clear Round) - SRC £25 Non Members £30

Yesterday afternoon our SRC members also got some brilliant results at Hadlow for the British Riding Clubs Area 10 Winter Championships.

Senior 70cm - team 3rd Ella, Katie, Alisha & Jessica. With Katie taking the win individually.

Junior 80cm Team, 1st qualifying for the championships 🤩 Lottie, Catherine, Freya and Abby. Lottie 4th individually and Freya 6th.

90cm - Sevenoaks Flyers 2nd, Sevenoaks Aviators 4th

100cm Team - 2nd - Harriet, Evie & Katherine. Katherine 4th individually, Harriet 5th

Out of over 320 riding clubs across the UK, Sevenoaks Riding Club has proudly finished 54th in the final 2025 league table 🏅

This incredible result is thanks to our amazing members, who have trained hard, travelled across the country, and represented us with such dedication at the British Riding Clubs championships 🦄
