Little Monty looking as fresh as ever 🍃

Monty decided to have a little nap during his groom which is amazing progress in seeing how comfortable he’s become 🥹

A few months ago there was certain areas he wouldn’t even allow me to brush and now he’s sleeping while I groom✨🫧

It’s so amazing to see the progress he’s made and show if you put the time into your dogs it really does help them massively 🐾

I’m a 1-1 groomer whose happy to take longer to help build your dogs confidence with grooming✂️
The service you recieve with me is peaceful and in a controlled environment and the dogs wellbeing is my priority.

Now the weather is getting hotter just a reminder how important it is to keep your dogs cool 😎

Signs of heatstroke to look out for:

Excessive or noisy panting
Bright red or sticky gums,
Drooling,
Weakness and confusion.
Severe cases quickly progress to vomiting, diarrhea, collapse, and seizures.

In the salon I am lucky enough to have an air con unit however if as the day progresses I feel it may be unsafe to groom for your pooches I will have to cancel and rearrange 🫶

If you suspect heat stroke move your dog to a shaded area and give small doses of water if any of the more severe symptoms are occurring seek vetinary help ♥️

Have a good summer now it’s started and stay safe 🐾☀️

It’s very important for dogs to sensitise to the process and learn it’s not so scary🥹🛁

Was he mental? Yes
But did I manage to do his nails? Also yes 🙌
A win is a win with these crazy puppies 😏

Mabel had a full natural trim and left looking just as gorgeous as when she came in but no more grinch feet 🐾
