That means normal service resumes tomorrow, thankfully.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and flexibility over the last couple of days while everything was being sorted. I really appreciate everyone who was able to move walks around.

It’s been a stressful couple of days, but I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love tomorrow. The rest of the week is looking incredibly busy, which I’m so excited about!

Then it’s holiday time for me next week, and I can honestly say I’m more than ready for it! ☀️🐾

Its been an absolute pleasure getting to know these two. Our 1st couple of walks were very much just us getting to know each other and by the end of there holiday walks with Sandbach Dog Walkers they were both a massive part of the pack and joining group walks.

Morning Sandbach ☀️🐾

I’ve just got back from my morning walk with my pack and it’s already feeling very warm and humid out there.

I’ve made the decision to shorten all morning walks and keep all dogs on lead to help them stay calm, cool, and comfortable in the heat.

Running around and overexerting themselves in this weather can quickly cause dogs to overheat, especially in humid conditions where they struggle to cool themselves down properly. Keeping walks calmer and more controlled helps reduce the risk of heat exhaustion and keeps everyone safe.

Please be assured that every decision is made with your dogs’ best interests in mind. We’ll still have plenty of enrichment, sniffing, and gentle exercise while avoiding too much physical activity in these conditions.

A simple yet effective way to add enrichment on a hot day ☀️🐾
Instead of feeding the girls in their bowls, I used part of their meal allowance along with a few added extras to make things more exciting. It encouraged them to work for their food, use their brains, and stay mentally stimulated while keeping cool.
Enrichment doesn’t have to be complicated 💛

Happy Bank Holiday everyone!

I just wanted to pop on and say how grateful I am for all the support we’ve received. This has been my busiest week since starting nearly two years ago, and honestly, it’s given me such a buzz. I absolutely love all the dogs I get to walk and spend time with every day.

Sandbach Dog Walkers wouldn’t be what it is without the love and support from all of you, so thank you so much.

We’ll be sending a message out to everyone booked in on Tuesday, as it looks like it’s going to be another hot one. In the meantime, enjoy your Bank Holiday, stay safe, and keep those doggies nice and cool! 🐶☀️
