Raven knows exactly where she's going when we head into town and if I dont go for treats she lets me know about it.

A couple of weeks ago, after a few customers asked, we introduced Moon Bones — and they’ve quickly become one of our most popular natural chews. ☀️🥵 Here we go again... another heatwave is on the way this week! 🌡️🔥

We're extremely busy on Monday and Tuesday, so we'll be getting all our walks done while it's still cool enough for the dogs to enjoy them safely. 🐕🚶‍♀️

From Wednesday onwards, all walks will be much earlier in the day, taking place in well-shaded areas 🌳 with plenty of opportunities for paddling and cooling off. 💦🐾
Once the temperatures become too high, we'll be switching to home visits only. 🏡
If you have any frozen Kongs, lick mats, or other enrichment activities 🦴🧩🧊 that you'd like me to supervise during a home visit, just let me know. 😊

If you don't require a home visit during the hottest part of the week, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know ASAP. ❤️

Heatwaves are always a challenging time for dog walkers, but your dogs' 🐶❤️ health, safety and wellbeing will always come first.

This is Daisy. ❤️

Daisy started out joining me on solo walks because she struggled with her confidence around unfamiliar dogs and people. Building her trust wasn't something that happened in a few weeks—it took months and months of patience, consistency, and getting to know each other.
Watching her grow has been so rewarding, and she's come on in leaps and bounds.

Today was a huge milestone. It was finally time to introduce her to a dog she'd never met before... cue Raven! 🐾

I chose Raven because she's worked incredibly hard to become a calm, confident, neutral dog who listens to me so well. She was the perfect partner to help make this introduction as positive as possible.

I couldn't be prouder of Daisy. She was so brave, handled the situation beautifully, and showed a whole new level of confidence. Moments like these are exactly why taking the time to build trust is so important. Well done, Daisy—you've earned every bit of this progress. ❤️

Getting your name out there these days is an absolute battle. Standing out on the internet feels like trying to teach a Labrador not to chase a squirrel. So, I thought I'd ask these two legends while they were already on top of the world if they'd do Sandbach Dog Walkers a massive favour and give us a shout-out.

After two days of rest, lots of sleep, cuddles, and her meds, Raven finally seemed much more like her happy self this morning. ❤️

I decided to take her out to see her friends because I knew how much it would lift her spirits and it definitely did. Safe to say Violet and Nessa were just as excited to see her as she was to see them.

Dog friendships are amazing. Dogs can form strong social bonds, recognise familiar companions, and often show genuine excitement and comfort when they're reunited. Watching them together is a lovely reminder of just how meaningful those friendships can be. 🐾

Thank you all for your messages and calls asking how she is. 🫶

Unfortunately, I've had to cancel all of tomorrow's walks. 😢

Raven became a bit unwell this afternoon, so we took her to the emergency vets. They were absolutely fantastic with her, ran some blood tests, and gave her some Metacam. She still has a high temperature, so I'll be taking her to my regular vets first thing tomorrow for a follow-up.

Sorry to everyone whose walks I've had to cancel, and thank you so much for your understanding.

Hopefully, Raven will be feeling much better soon. ❤️
