03/11/2026

1 runner for us today at Lingfield where Issie Young will be leading up.
It’s the 2.12pm where we run SADIES DIAMOND for owners The Seamus Mullins Racing Club and Benjamin Macey riding.
SADIES DIAMOND will appreciate the run today - conditions suitable but she may lack that edge at the business end of the race. I wouldn’t put each way backers off though.
On form i wouldn’t be looking at the favourite CHOSEN HERO but James Owen has a canny knack with these types but where else do you look for the winner?
All we ask is that both horse and jockey come back safe and sound to race another day!….. Brett

02/11/2026

Just the 1 for us today at Plumpton Races where Daisy Warden will be leading up.
It’s the 3.00pm where we run TOMMIE BEAU for owners Simon & Christine Prout and Benjamin Macey rides.
TOMMIE BEAU likes it round here and is versatile enough to cope with the race conditions- of course he isn’t getting any younger but he will give it his best and thoroughly deserves his place.
Lots with chances in an open looking race, the favourite JUBILANT has obvious credentials as does RICKETY BRIDGE. A case can almost be made for all runners!
Best of luck to connections today and most importantly, horse and jockey home safe and sound is good enough for us…..Brett

*** 5th ***

1 runner for us today up north at Carlisle where Zoe Catherine Louise will be leading up.
It’s the 4.10pm where we run BLUTIQUE for owners Andrew C***s & Tara Johnson with Dan Sansom riding.
Andrew and Tara’s
last two runners have won and hopefully we can add that to the tally today.
BLUTIQUE is working well and i can see him and MEETMEBYTHELAKE battling out the finish today. It’s a long way to go so a bit of bus fare home would be very welcome indeed.
Best of luck to connections and hopefully see you all in the winners enclosure but at the very least, returning to Wilsford safe and sound would suffice…. Brett

WINNER 🥇

Just one runner for us today at Bangor on Dee where Poppy will be leading up.
It’s the 3.46pm where we run AIR APPARENT for owners, A C***s, T Johnson & P Downing. Paul O’Brien takes the ride.
AIR APPARENT has an each way chance today - but you can say that about all runners! Not a great race but all have a chance.
All we would like to see is horse and jockey home safe and sound as a bare minimum…. Brett

26/10/2026

Just 1 going to post for us today at Hereford.
It’s the 3.27pm where we run WEST HILL ROSIE for owner Mrs Kate Kenyon and Benjamin Macey rides.
Zoe Catherine Louise will be leading up today.
WEST HILL ROSIE is very much a watching brief for me today until she shows a bit more at the track.
MISS KINGSTON is very much the one to beat on form shown so far amongst this lot.
All we ask is that both horse and jockey have a clear round and come back safe and sound to race another day…. Brett

SOVIET SAILOR - WINNER 🥇

RUNNING HAPPY - 3rd

2 runners for us today at Market Rasen where Issie Young will be leading up.
First up in the 1.00pm we run RUNNING HAPPY for owners The 8 Great Bustards and Benjamin Macey rides.
RUNNING HAPPY has done very well to date and meets obstacles for the first time today. He has been schooling well and looks nailed on to be placed at least.
Couple of likely good ones in this race, namely MOORE BRION and KALDOUN DES ROCS who i’m sure will be battling out the finish alongside us?
Next up in the 4.23pm we run a newcomer SOVIET SAILOR for owners Andrew C***s and Tara Johnson with Dan Sansom riding.
SOVIET SAILOR has been pleasing us at home and we will be watching today to see how he fares. He’s not without a chance and is generally trading at around 12/1. Could well be placed today and not without a chance.
With no form on offer, there is nothing to go on so i’m happy to see this one out.
Best of luck to connections and all we ask for is that horses and jockeys return safe and sound….. Brett

23/10/2026

Just 1 runner goes to post today at Cheltenham Racecourse where Issie Young will be leading up.
It’s the 2.25pm where we run KAPITEIN KOOL for owner Willem Ven Der Horst and Micheal Kenneally riding.
KAPITEIN KOOL is a horse that i like who could run well today. Race conditions would not be a problem today and he will be a lot fitter today having had his recent run.
He was a decent price yesterday and punters have smashed him in to 4/1 (having been 12/1). He most definitely has an each way chance today.
Two others i like in the race are THE HARDEST GEEZER and CONTINUANCE (who i backed myself at 16/1 last night). Earlier form of the latter gives him a better chance at the weights against LORIKO and WONDERING WHY who he had previously met.
Best of luck to connections today and most important is that both horse and jockey return safe and sound…. Brett

21/10/2026

Just 1 runner for us today at Fontwell Park Racecourse where Poppy will be leading up.
It’s the 4.17pm where we run ELPOLOGREG for owners The Seamus Mullins Racing Club with Benjamin Macey taking the ride.
ELPOLOGREG has been consistently placed since moving to this sphere and is very versatile with regards to ground and distance but he has been off the track for 532 days. He is worth watching today with maybe a small each way squeak due to his absence. He will need the run i suspect to blow away the cobwebs.
DARING PLAN looks the most likely winner and might be fighting it out with WALKINTHEPRESENT (who may need the run too).
Best of luck to connections but most importantly, horse and jockey home safe and sound…. Brett

18/10/2026

3 runners for us today up at Sedgefield Race Course where Laura will be leading up for owners Simon & Christine Prout and all ridden by Benjamin Macey.
First up in the 2.20pm we run PATH OF STARS, who looks sure to be winning over fences soon enough.
She ran well last time behind ILLOGICAL LOGIC and enjoys a 7lb pull with that one today for 4 lengths. That could be enough today to see off that rival! Ours is double the odds too at around 10/1. Definite each way bet for me and i am looking forward to seeing ours run today.
Next up in the 3.20pm we run PINK N PURPLE.
I liked the race on 5th April this year where he ran respectably and that has thrown up a few winners since - this always bodes well.
Conditions today won’t be an issue and he could easily outrun his odds of around 25/1! I’ve had a small each way bet.
LADY BOUJEE looks interesting to me.
Finally in the 3.20 we run a stable favourite of mine…. the one and only TOMMIE BEAU.
This chap needs no introduction at all and will give his running. No problem with race conditions and his form in the race is 134 off marks of 128, 144 & 138. Today he runs off 130 and is 8lbs lower than last year (well beaten), he comes here today in much better form and although he’s entering his twilight career, he doesn’t know when to give up. I fancy him to be placed at least at around 11/1 and if a couple of others struggle today then he’ll be there at the end battling on and could even win!
IVANE won this last year and looks a decent bet at the odds and a repeat win is not out of the question!
To be fair i can only rule out a couple so it’s a tough race on paper.
Best of luck to connections and it would be nice to see us in the winners enclosure!
Of course, coming back safe and sound for both horses and jockey is our priority….. Brett
