🌟NEW ARRIVAL🌟

4 year old blue girl LOLA joined us on the 23rd May 2026.

Already showing herself to be an affectionate girl who walks well on the lead, she has been described by both Siobhan and Shilpa as 'lovely'. Lola is settling in well and we welcome her to Makants.

🌟Dog of the month for June 2026🌟

❤TED ❤

5 year old TED arrived with us on the 9th May 2026. He has settled in well and is showing us alreadywhat a gentle and loving boy he is! He walks well on the lead and isn't bothered by the traffic and is described by Siobhan as a 'lovely boy'.

TED has already enjoyed time spent in the enrichment (home from home) room playing with toys. He's also seen a washing machine for the first time too!

TED could live as an only hound or would be equally happy to live with another female hound.

With his friendly laid back personality we think he would make a great hound for the first time greyhound owner too.

🌟FRIDAY FEATURE🌟

❤AL❤

Handsome 4 year old AL arrived with us on the 9th May 2026.

AL loves to see the volunteer walkers and walks well on the lead. He is interested to see there are other breeds of dog on his walks but doesn't react negatively towards them. He has shown is he is a confident, friendly and affectionate boy who also enjoys spending time in the enrichment (home from home) room playing with toys.

AL doesn't like to miss out and loves to be involved in everything that's going on! He could live in a home with another female hound or would be equally happy as an only dog.

Here's young lad DAN having a Sunday lie in ....on the floor! Honestly, what is he like, there's a lovely comfy bed just behind him!

🌟FRIDAY FEATURE🌟

❤YOGI❤

4 year YOGI joined us on the 23rd April 2026.

A timid boy, he walks well on the lead when out with our walking volunteers. He is settling in well and coming out of his shell, gaining confidence each day. He loves to play with toys in our enrichment (home from home) room and is quite a nosey boy, loving to see everything that's going on!

We believe YOGI could live with another confident large breed female hound or would be equally happy to be the only dog in a home.

We would expect a prospective adopter to spend some time building up a relationship with Yogi while he is at kennels prior to being adopted. We also think YOGI would prefer to live with older children, 14 years plus.

We've another new arrival to introduce to you today - on Tongue Out Tuesday - black and white lad AL!

Four year old AL arrived with us on the 9th May 2026.

It's early days but he is doing well. He is a friendly and lively boy who enjoys spending time
in the enrichment (home from home) room and playing with toys.

🌟FRIDAY FEATURE🌟

💗DAN💗

Two year old DAN joined us on the 21st April 2026. DAN has already shown himself to be a friendly boy and has settled in well. He enjoys his walks, walks well on the lead and is fine with every breed of dog he comes across.

As he' s still a young boy we are looking for a more active home for DAN as we feel he'd like to be involved in everything that's going on!
