I love how white freshly shorn white sheep are.
the outside of her fleece is grey from a years worth of dirt and weather.

Another one shorn.
Davas (Cornish for sheep) mixed grey fleece.
Light over the middle, dark grey on the shoulders.
lovely soft fleece with a good staple length.
Planned to shear another this evening but we're having thundery showers now.
wet wool moulds and rots so unless it shines again and dries the sheep's fleeces no more shearing today.
