I feel so lucky to work with so many fantastic dogs of all different breeds & backgrounds! 🐾🐕‍🦺
Our dogs bring so much to our lives - what would we do without them 🥰

This means a class block of 5 sessions = £40
30 min 121 block of 4 = £40

✨New Puppy Class✨
Please note this will be at our new venue between Marham & Shouldham 🖤🧡

My next puppy class starts on Sat September 12th @ 12pm 🐕‍🦺

We train outdoors so your dog can learn to successfully work through all kinds of distractions 🐦🚗 all with the goal of helping your dog become a confident & well rounded part of your family! 🥰
We'll cover valuable skills from walking on a loose lead and recall, to impulse control and confidence building! 🎉

Based between Shouldham & Marham (as we are moving from our current venue) this puppy class is just £70 for the 6 week course (including a training toy, treats & poo bags) 🐕
If you know ahead of time you can't make a session I'm happy to either swap for a 30 min 121 or carry the session forward! 🐶

This class is already nearly full through enquiries so please let me know if you'd like to book a spot!

✨ WE’RE MOVING! ✨
I have some very exciting news (which most people who train with me regularly will already know!) and that is… we’re moving! 🧡🖤
Where we are currently based has been absolutely amazing, and the owners of the land have been so supportive from day one. I’m incredibly grateful for their part in helping me start Pup & Up and watching it grow into what it is today. 🥰
Thanks to all of the brilliant dogs and owners who have supported, and continue to support Pup & Up we have basically outgrown the space, and there are some really exciting things in the pipeline that we simply wouldn’t be able to do where we are currently based. 🐕‍🦺
While I appreciate that change can be unsettling, I really hope you’ll all join me in enjoying our new venue! 🌲 It is fully secure, with its own entrance, and I’m so excited for you all to see it. 🎉
I’ll be sending out full details to everyone who trains with me in the coming days, but the new venue is around a 13-minute drive from where we currently train, between Marham & Shouldham. 🌎
Our first day of training at the new venue will be Sat 12th September (with a few exceptions, who I’ll speak to directly).
Thank you again — without you guys, we wouldn’t be where we are today, and I’m so excited to go into this next phase of Pup & Up together - hopefully with cooler weather! 🤞🏻

✨ PUPPY CLASS ✨
My new Thursday 6pm puppy class start date was pushed back from last week to TOMORROW due to the heat and so some space has come available!
If you have a puppy (or a friendly young adult) and would like them to learn important foundation life skills (such as recall, loose lead walking, impulse control), in a friendly and relaxed environment drop me a message! ✨

If you're thinking about trying out our Day Training tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of our introductory July offer - 3 Day Trains for just £90! 🧡🖤
Although we have a different protocol for hot weather to keep the dogs safe and cool, a typical Day Training day looks like this 🐕 -
⏰ Your dog is picked up between 8 & 9am, we can hold keys so you don't need to be home!
🐕‍🦺 We'll head to a quieter location and usually start with a short sniffy walk to relax after the drive and some engagement games!
🐾 We'll then work on whatever it is you're struggling with (this could be anything from loose lead walking, reactivity, recall to over excitement around people or just general pet training)
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 We'll go to a second busier location (such as outside a shop) to work somewhere more challenging!
🐕 We'll end the day with either a secure field play session in small appropriate groups (or with us if your dog isn't quite ready for social time with other dogs) or if suitable a long line walk so they go home both physically and mentally tired and fulfilled!
😴 Drop off is between 2 and 4 and like pick up it's no problem if you're not going to be home as long as we have a key!

Mondays are now FULLY BOOKED but we do have Tuesday & Wednesday availability! 🎉

✨ EXCITING NEWS ✨
Keith from Barks & Rec Dog Walking is going to be joining the Pup & Up Day Training team! 🧡🖤
Keith brings a wealth of doggy experience being a life long dog owner and running his own successful dog walking business since 2022. 🐕‍🦺
Having trained with Keith, his wife Jen and their lovely staffy Jinx since she was a puppy, I know that our training values align and am excited to see what this means for Pup & Up! 🥰
Keith will be Day Training on a Tuesday & Wednesday starting in August 📆
Keith Fun Facts -
🐾 His favourite dog breeds are any bulldog or mastiff! 🐶
🐾 The first dog he ever owned was a lab/GSD when he was growing up 🦮
🐾 A breed he'd love to own that he thinks would surprise people is a Newfoundland! 🐕

This means we now have Tuesday & Wednesday availability (previously fully booked) AND still a few days left of our July introductory offer of 3 Training Days for £90 (to be used at any time!) 🎉

We had a full house today! 🧡🖤
Bob, Dottie, Arthur, Marley & Peggy had a busy day starting with some engagement, searching & impulse control in the woods 🌲 (after a short sniffy walk to stretch their legs after pick up), we did some loose lead walking & people/car watching outside of a supermarket 👀 AND went for paired walks with a new friend! 🐕
A few of these guys can be worried about new dogs so it was lovely seeing them so calm and relaxed together 🥰 - we often use secure fields to give the dogs a chance to have an off lead play in suitable groups! 🐾 It might not sound like training but SO many social skills can be learned from interacting with the right dogs! 🐕‍🦺🦮

DID YOU KNOW? You don't need to be home for pick up/drop off as we can hold keys - making us a great structured alternative to daycare 🎉

From August we will also be offering our popular Training Days on a Wednesday! 🎉
Don't forget we have an introductory offer available until the end of July - just £90 for 3 training days! (These can be used any time - it doesn't need to be July!) 📆

A few people have asked if you need to already be training with me to use our Day Training and the answer is no! Both Keva and Ralph don't currently train with me and enjoyed their first day today! 🧡🖤
We've kept everything as straightforward as possible to help the owners put the training into place 🐾🥰 If you would like to make the most of your training days I'd recommend booking the odd 121 but it is completely up to you! 🐕‍🦺

Lots of people have been interested in what our Day Training involves so here is a look into Bob's first Day! 🧡🖤
We started with some general engagement, loose lead walking and stay training 🐾
We did a little bit of training in Jolleyes - a great place to practice these same skills in a more challenging environment! 🐕
Train hard, play hard - we stopped at a secure field to have some play sessions. These are planned according to your dog so if your dog isn't ready for 'play times' with another dog that's not a problem. Today Bob made 2 new friends - Penny and Dottie! 🥰
After having a play the dogs rotated between being tethered and settling on their mat for some chill out time before we left the field! 🐕‍🦺
We finished the day with some people watching, a few searches somewhere new and playing with a toy in a more challenging environment! Bob is still working on his toy drive (I'll bring his rabbit ball next time 😂) so Dottie demonstrated what we are working towards!

Day Training has been incredibly popular so it's here to stay! I am going to be looking at expanding to a Wednesday but exact dates are tbc 📆
Our Day Trains are usually £35 (including taxi) - until the end of July I'm going to be offering a block of 3 Day Trains for just £90! These can be used at any time - they don't need to be used in July or over consecutive weeks! 🎉🎊

Things I did to help prepare Nova (who has been with me for around a month) for her first camping trips! ☀️🏕️
🐾 Lots of work on her reactivity - building her confidence around dogs, people & the world as a whole! 🌎
🐾 Developing her social skills with people and dogs - this has been a case of keeping greetings with new people quite short & calm and mixing her with the right dogs - we had a few dogs run over on walks and she stayed calm and relaxed which wouldn't have been the case a couple of weeks ago 🥰
🐾 Teaching her that being tethered = time to relax, my dogs are regularly tethered in the garden after their dinner to encourage them to settle especially my younger two! 🐕
🐾 Watching the world go by - lots of coffee shop trips and hanging outside shops so she is able to chill and watch the world go by including things that were once scary or overly exciting!
🐾 Built a lot of value in her 'look' and 'down' so I could easily redirect her if she was starting to have big feelings about something 👀

And of course there are lots of things that we'll be working on for next time!
