☀️ OUT OF OFFICE ☀️

Yes, I know… I’m off on my holidays again! 😹

What can I say? It takes a lot out of a Cat Nanny being this good. Regular sunshine and the occasional cocktail are essential for maintenance purposes 😂🍹

From 17th–24th June I’ll be swapping litter trays, cat treats and alarm clocks for a week of relaxation in sunnier climates.

Now, before anyone points out that I’ve only just come back from a four-day holiday… you’re absolutely right! 😹 But this one should be a little more relaxing. Less partying, fewer fancy dress nights, a lot more sleep, and absolutely no alarm clocks!

I’m hoping to come back fully recharged, refreshed and ready for a busy summer of looking after all your gorgeous kitties ☀️🐾

And before anyone asks… this is my last holiday of the year! After this it’s all paws on deck and back to business for Sonia The Cat Nanny.

🐾 Some cats steal your heart the first time you meet them… and then steal a little bit more of it every time you see them🐾

Today is my final visit with Nacho, Loomi and Gouda, and what a pleasure it’s been spending time with these handsome boys again.

I adored them the first time I looked after them, but this set of visits has felt completely different. It’s as though last time they were quietly deciding whether I met their very high standards. This time, they’ve greeted me like an old friend.

From the welcome committee waiting at the door, to the cuddles, head bumps and having three little shadows following me around during my visits, they’ve made every single visit a joy.

One of the greatest privileges of being a cat sitter is earning a cat’s trust. When they remember you, seek you out and choose to spend time with you, it’s the most wonderful feeling.

The good news is that this isn’t goodbye for long - I’ll be back with these lovely boys again on 29th June, and I have a feeling they’ll be expecting their cuddles on arrival! 😻

Until then, boys… thank you for making every visit so special. ❤️

Morning visits done! ☀️🐾

My first stop was to see the adorable trio Nacho, Gouda and Loomi, and my final visit of the morning was to beautiful Buzz.

Seriously though… how could you not fall in love with that face? 😻

Being a Cat Nanny has its perks, and spending my mornings with gorgeous kitties like these is definitely one of them!

Morning visits finished! 🐾

First stop was the lovely ginger boy Stinger (whose visits started last night), followed by a visit to the beautiful Buzz😻

Such cuties, both of them!

Now it’s time for some cuddles with my own gang. I think they’ve definitely missed me while I’ve been away… although judging by the amount of shouting I’ve received this morning, they’re making sure I know about it! 😂🐱💕

Good morning everyone! ☀️

I’m back from Benidorm. I’d like to say I’m fully refreshed and recharged, but that would be a complete lie! 😂

We had an amazing time, lots of laughs, plenty of memories made, and perhaps a little less sleep than recommended.

It’s straight back to business today, starting with a morning visit to the dashingly handsome Buzz 🐾🐈‍⬛

What an incredible first year it’s been!

A whole year of early mornings, evening visits, purrs, head boops, treat requests, lap cuddles, and being thoroughly supervised by cats who were convinced they could do my job better.

To every client who trusted me with their precious feline family members, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support, recommendations, reviews, and kind words have helped my small business grow beyond anything I imagined.

I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful cats, each with their own unique personality, quirks, and routines, and I genuinely love every minute of it.
