4 years ago.. Ares the mali going off to his new home, Ares came in my my old workplace with Zeus from Romania! He was quite reactive to dogs and very nervous around people, another dog that set off my love for reactive dogs ❤️ we had such an amazing bond and I hope he’s living his best life ❤️

Just wanted to pop a little post on as it’s something I’m commonly seeing lately; I found a little dog yesterday with no collar on (escaped garden, not all dogs wear collars at home) so it took me a while, but I managed to catch her and take her to the vets for her microchip scanning… she was chipped with 2 phone numbers on there but none of the phone numbers were valid, probably old numbers which made it way more difficult to reunite her with her owners! Luckily later on her owners commented on my post and went and picked her up.
But my point is, it would’ve been much easier, quicker and less stressful for the dog to not have to go into vets if their details on the microchip were up to date! Please if you move house or get a new phone number, update your microchip details!! It takes two minutes and could be the difference between your dog coming home or going with the dog warden and to kennels where you’d have to pay to get them back 😅
Every so often when I go to the vets I get them to check his microchip hasn’t magically vanished 🤣 and to check everything is still on there ❤️
