People often see the finished fluffy haircut and assume it's all about the scissor work, but the reality is that half the work happens before we even pick up the scissors. This groom had a full hour of bathing, drying, and fluff-drying to get the coat in the best possible condition for trimming. A beautifully prepared coat is what creates that soft, even finish.

Every dog's behaviour also affects the time involved. If they're moving, pulling away, or tucking their legs back, we have to slow down and work carefully to keep them safe and comfortable. Luckily, George here is an expert thanks to his regularly scheduled appointments 🤗...

Then comes the perfectionist part—we'll go over areas again and again chasing that flawless finish. And just when we think we're done, the camera spots a few rogue hairs we somehow missed, so out come the scissors for one last tidy-up! For this boy's visit alone I have about 10 pictures 🤭✂️🐾

Bit of a change incoming...👀

After just over two years in business, I've decided to give the logo a bit of a refresh. It's not a huge change and you'll definitely still recognise it, but I felt it was time for a little update.
As the business has grown, I've been able to put a bit more budget into things like branding, and if I'm honest, I was starting to fall out of love with the old logo!

Same business, same service, just a freshened-up look. New uniform and car stickers pending...😅

New petshop opening soon right across the road from the salon! Somewhere to grab a treat for your dog for being so good for their grooms 😉🐶

It's official. We have set a date. No, not that sort of date! We are proud to announce that our very first pet shop will open its doors to the public on Monday 8th June at 10am.

Super excited for next Monday. Combining my birthday celebrations with the opening of our first shop. Who could have imagined this 6 months ago. Onwards and upwards.

Max and I look forward to seeing everyone. Please pass on this information and support local 🐾

Started at 7am today because the dogs didn't sign up for a sauna session. 🥵🐶
Early starts mean cooler pups, a happier groomer, and less chance of us all melting into a pile of fur and shampoo. Plus an early finish for me so I could go home and sit in front of the fan with a cold drink! 😅
⚠️ I may do this throughout Summer to ensure both the dogs and myself don't overheat. So if you're able to do early mornings please let me know so I can adjust my bookings 🤗🌞
*also handy if you need a 1:1 session as I should be by myself between 7am and 9am*
