🐾 A little late to International Dog Day… but around here, every day is Dog Day! ❤️

Just a few of the many, many dogs who’ve become part of the South Wales Animal Services family over the years.

Big ones, little ones, crazy ones, cuddly ones — walkers, runners, swimmers, sofa stealers and everything in between. 😂🐶

We couldn’t possibly include everyone, but we’re incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful dogs (and their humans!) in our lives.

Today’s mountain adventure 🐾⛰️

How lucky are we to have walks like this straight from our front door? Woodland trails, long grass, a mountain climb and those incredible views — the perfect way for these two to spend the day. 💚

🐾 When South Wales Animal Services meets Happy Tails Pet Care… it can only mean one thing — PLAY DATE! 🐾

Today’s walk was a little different as we joined forces with Happy Tails Pet Care and brought some of our four-legged customers together for a proper countryside meet-up. 🌾🐶

There was running, sniffing, exploring, rolling in the grass (obviously 🙄😂), new friendships and plenty of happy faces.

One of the nicest things about working alongside another local pet-care business is being able to arrange walks like this — carefully matching dogs who we think will enjoy each other’s company and giving them a chance to socialise in a big, open space.

Judging by these photos, I think we can safely say the play date was a success. ❤️🐾

Same again next week, Happy Tails? 😜

Same place. Same walk. Two VERY different ideas of a good time 😂🐾

💦 Bear: WATER!!! Straight in. No hesitation and relax .
🌿 Rosie: Hang on… I need to investigate absolutely everything first.

One of the things we love about our walks is letting dogs enjoy them their way. For one dog that means swimming and splashing. For another it’s sniffing, exploring and taking in every inch of the countryside.

No one-size-fits-all walks here ❤️

Someone has discovered one of the perks of staying with us… 😂💦

Rosie absolutely LOVES the water, so naturally her holiday had to include a proper river adventure. ❤️

Home boarding isn’t about every dog doing the same thing. We get to know what makes your dog happy and build their stay around them.

I think Rosie’s vote is definitely for more swimming! 🐾💦
