1. Health Check: Book a complimentary health check with your vet to make sure your new pet is in great shape and to answer any early questions you may have.

3. Vaccinations: Puppies and kittens need a full course of vaccinations, usually at 8, 12, and 16 weeks, to protect against common diseases.
4. Microchipping: Microchipping is a legal requirement for dogs and will soon be for cats. It’s the best way to help reunite you with your pet if they go missing.
5. Socialisation: Early exposure to different environments, people, and animals helps your puppy or kitten grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult.
6. Parasite Protection: Start flea and worm treatments early and keep them regular – prevention is key for a healthy, happy pet.
