For something to change… SOMETHING’S gotta change.

Read that again.

For a long time, I wanted more. More financial breathing space, more freedom, more choices and a future that didn’t feel so restricted.

But I also knew something had to give.

Living with fibromyalgia means my body doesn’t always play ball. Taking on another physically demanding job wasn’t the answer. I didn’t want to push myself harder, sacrifice my health or spend every bit of energy I had just to earn more.

But I also didn’t want my circumstances to decide what I could achieve.

And that was my turning point.

I realised that if I wanted a different future, I needed to be open to doing something differently.

That’s why I started building with Utility Warehouse.

Something I could grow around my life, on my terms, while helping other people save money on their household bills too.

I’m not saying it’s a magic wand. But it’s an opportunity to build something different.

Because here’s the truth…

You can’t keep wishing for a different life while being too afraid to take the first step towards one.

How many times do we say things like…

“I’d love to have more money.”
“I wish we could afford to do more.”
“I’d love a holiday without worrying about the cost.”
“I just want a bit more breathing room every month.”

But how often do we actually do something to change it?

And I don’t mean working yourself into the ground, taking on another full-time job or sacrificing every spare minute you have.

I mean looking at the opportunities around you and asking yourself…

What if I tried something different?

That’s exactly why I started building an additional income alongside my full-time career.

Not because I had loads of spare time.
Not because I was desperate to become a millionaire.
And certainly not because I needed another thing to keep me busy! 🤣

I wanted OPTIONS.

More financial breathing room. More choices. More freedom to enjoy the things I’ve worked hard for.

And do you know what?

Sometimes the biggest thing standing between where you are and where you want to be is simply being willing to take that first step.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

But you do have to decide whether you’re happy for things to stay exactly as they are.

So here’s my question…

If nothing changes between now and this time next year, will you be happy with where you are financially?

🚨 CHRISTMAS IS LESS THAN 8 WEEKS AWAY. READ THAT AGAIN. 🚨

Eight weeks until the food shop gets bigger.

Right, a little introduction for anyone who doesn’t know me properly! 👋🩷

I’m Liz.

I spend my days managing a homecare business, my evenings trying to keep on top of life, and a ridiculous amount of time picking up after animals who contribute absolutely nothing towards the household bills! 🤣🐴🐶

I’m also renovating my house, which has turned into a rather expensive hobby. Apparently, I have ch*****ne taste and a never-ending list of things I want to buy! 😂

So, a while ago, I decided to do something about it.

I started building a little extra income alongside everything else.

Not because I wanted another full-time job.
Not because I wanted to spend every evening working.

My 2 year affair with Dr House is officially over - and I’m feeling rather sad!!

I started watching House when I was struggling to sleep for various reasons and have had on/off binge sessions for 2 years!

I’ve just watched the last episode and now I have no ‘go to’ show!!!

Please send HELP! Recommendations please for what to watch next!

I have prime, Netflix, NOW, Apple, Disney and mainstream channels.

I’ve already done the resident (which is also fantastic!!) and a lot of the popular shows too so I’m hitting a brick wall!

Need something with 3 or more seasons that will get me HOOKED!

Can we talk about how exhausting it is to work hard all month, get paid, pay your bills and feel like you’ve barely got anything left? 😩

And then the car needs something.

The washing machine breaks.

A birthday comes around.

Or you just fancy doing something nice without having to justify every penny.

I’m not saying an extra income magically fixes every financial problem.
