Rathfriland Veterinary Clinic Established in Rathfriland over 50 years ago, our practice caters for small and large animals. We are an five vet mixed practice on two sites.

We also have two sister clinics specialising in equine care and small animals. In Rathfriland we have a purpose built clinic where we care for farm animals, horses and small animals. We provide a 24 hour on-call emergency service 7 days a week as well as set surgery hours. The surgery is by appointment and are

Congratulations to vet Hannah and fiancé Cameron as they celebrate their wedding day tomorrow!

We are very thankful to have had Hannah join us over 3 and a half years ago and are sad to see her move on but, we would like firstly thank her for all her hard work and secondly, like to wish her and Cameron all the very best as they begin their new life together

With the continued increases in fuel prices the vets will now be using bicycles to get to calls, please allow extra time for the Vet to arrive and anticipate all cow calvings, ewe lambings and other emergencies hours in advance

Rathfriland vets are no strangers to a bit of cycling with Ruth and Terry often seeing whizzing about! 🚲

Unfortunately no one came forward for this lovely girl, so she is now in the process of being rehomed through the council (not through us). We hope she gets a lovely home soon.

This lovely girl has been handed in to the clinic. Unfortunately her microchip is not up to date. We would love to reunite her with her family. Please share so she can go home.
